I used to live in Aberdeen in 2003. Nice to see how it used to be. Thanks Michael, wonderful videos once again.

Great video, as usual, of precious historic footage. Thanks. And the music was used in a very popular movie which has 90+ episodes, so it beings back the atmosphere of the period.

@fgah It is part of an old German documentary: Schiffe an fremder Küste. I could acquire a copy of the film. I have made no cuts. This is all there was on Hong Kong. The other parts were about oldtime ships in India and Accra, which I have also uploaded as clips.

Actually the title to the background music is The General's Order. Later from 1949 to 1969 the music was used as theme music to the 99 productions of Wong Fei Hung movie series starring Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung and Shek Kin as the villian.

If you are the copyright owner, how can I get permission to use it? We need around 15-20 seconds. If possible, would you please give me your email or contact me via churchmusicmanaging@gmail.com?

1948. Two years before Mao Red China mobilising their arm force to take Hong Kong knowing the British was about to give Hong Kong self government.
