During BHS's private, invitation-only reception at the end of the 2017 ACDA National Conference, Ringmasters heard that all four members of Vintage Mix were about to celebrate their 16th birthday. They took the opportunity and gave them a birthday present they'll never forget.

aww, i loved this! also, my dad’s whole side of the family was swedish and they all lived there, in minneapolis! i have not been to visit them since i was a kid, in the 70’s but this made me feel like i was back there again. thx for posting this.
So curious that this song resembles “Lang zal die leven”, a Dutch song used in the same occasions - the first few notes are exactly the same. Unfortunately here in Portugal there is just “Happy birthday to you”, although with so much more text than the English version that we need to sing it twice.
