smoked paneer tikka roll 🐣 paneer tikka: 1/2 cup hung curd 400g paneer cubes 1 tbsp flax seed powder 1 tbsp gram flour ginger garlic chilli paste (1 inch ginger, 11 cloves garlic and 3 green chilies blended together) 1 tsp turmeric 2 tsp chilli powder 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp mango powder 2 tsp garam masala 2 tsp kasuri methi 1 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp chaat masala salt pepper juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tbsp mustard oil - marinate paneer cubes for 1 hr atleast in the fridge - toast on a pan on low heat till golden brown on all sides (i used a non stick pan which required no extra oil but add more mustard oil if using stainless steel) - turn off the heat once paneer is done cooking - heat up a few pieces of charcoal in direct flame and add them to a small bowl - place the bowl in the centre of the pan and add a teaspoon of ghee to the charcoal - cover immediately and let the paneer smoke for 10 minutes sauce: 3 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp mint mayo 1 tbsp tandoori mayo 2 tbsp green chilli sauce 1 tbsp red chilli sauce 1 tbsp Bengal mustard sauce salad: onions + carrot + capsicum + lemon juice + salt + chilli powder + coriander assemble: lachha paratha - paneer - salad - sauce - so so good 🌯

I'm the same, parents never fed me meat, and now I don't want to eat it because after never having it my whole life, the thought of eating something that was living irks me. But I wouldn't really say I went vegetarian by choice since I was raised to not eat it as a kid. It's different when you make the conscious to decision to switch from eating meat to not eating meat.

All the onion garlic and masalas you used could have led to a chicken dish like flavor. Also sometimes the masalas they are veg masalas can have meat masala cross contaminations too, I have found that ocassionally on India. Also he didn't say paneer was tasting like chicken (unless paneer processing facility had some cross contaminations with a chicken processing one); he said paneer roll was tasting like chicken roll- there's a difference between the two thoughts.☺️🤗
