I decided this year to look more into curriculum companies that would carry us from elementary to high school. I have been lucky to find really good curriculum for my kids that they love and goes through high school. My only one I haven't been able to find is History.
I’m a planner too! Having a clear, but flexible, long term plan helps me feel more relaxed, stress free and confident during the school year. I enjoyed this video and look forward to more planning videos from you!
Love this! Very helpful! My kids are currently 2 grades ahead so I'm wondering what that looks like if they continue on that track. I'd love to hear your thoughts about advanced kids/graduating early in a video since I imagine most homeschooled kids are ahead of their public school kids.
I'm finalizing my son's 9th grade year currently, which is led me to pencil in this 10th-12th year also. I just get all the requirements laid out, find a sample transcript but I also have more details in word written out.
Does your state have “running start” that’s what it’s called here in Washington, where a higher school junior can take classes at the community college and graduate high school with a highschool diploma as well as associates degree? I did that in school and it was awesome however I don’t know if I’ll do it with my homeschool children
Our state only offers a similar program to students enrolled in public high school. But we do plan to do dual enrollment through different university programs ☺️
Do you plan for the long-term? What tips do you have?

Thanks for talking about high school. There’s a need for more high school content, keep doing this in the future. Love your organization ❤
This was super helpful! I think it is great that you are getting such a jump start on planning. I definitely should have started sooner. LOL.

Yes! I’ll definitely be making one like this ☺️
I am working on a high school plan now, but it is all in pencil. I like having a general idea, but I know to be flexible.
So helpful! Thanks, Ashley!
