My most favorite keyer ever was the Heathkit Keyer with capacitive touch paddles. It had its warts & flaws, but had plenty of memories & I wore it out on 6 M to 70 cm weak signal work years ago. It required +12 volts to operate, but those capacitance paddles accommodated all of my slap happy action over the years. Knowing what I know now it would have been my go-to POTA keyer despite being heavy for a compact portable unit. I should have bought 10 of them for future builds when Heath announced they were closing back in the 90's. Us old farts can be so nostalgic, lol. Davey - KU9L
Yah, I know. These videos were pulled from my livestreams on TikTok, which requires portrait orientation. I figured people would like to see these, even though they are in portrait. Can't do anything about it if it's a TikTok video.

haha isn't that the truth! We use something and love it and only in hindsight wish we had it still. Good stuff!
Can't wait to see the finished product!
It's a great project. Thanks!
