The past works are classic, Pure Black Energy is one of the most iconic Black Metal cover artworks for me. Excited to check that new release. I just love their logo, hope they release some t-shirts with this new album.
Just listened to it on Bandcamp. I really liked it theres something about mid paced black metal that draws you in and gives a cold atmosphere. I dont know why but i think if Amebix ever played BM (I know that they split) it would sound a bit like this. The strange chords they play when the vocals kick in does send shivers. Just a side note do you like Finnish Hardcore punk? you guy's have some great bands like Terveet Kadet, Kaaos and Riistetyt. They have influanced alot of great metal bands. Anyway thanks for the heads up on the new Tulus. Take care Mate!
Glad you liked it! I, too, like mid-paced quite a bit and hence I make it myself, too (if you have no clue what I'm talking about, check out Annihilatus on Bandcamp). I must say I'm not personaly into HC punk even though I know those names. Surely they have influenced metal. I remember reading once upon a time that Max Cavalera (back then still in Sepltura) praised some of that stuff!

I never heard about these guys, Khold rings a bell ,but I don't own anything by them either. Gonna hear this one tomorrow.
This is very similar to Khold.
You'll have an interview soonish to shed more light on these guys.
Cool, I really liked Old Old Death and will buy the album.
@@douglasquaid7550 Great!
Hey Rauta is it possible to add some tunes of the album you review in the future? Like in the background or just play a few samples? Thx
Unfortunately no.
I understand why.. thx for the reply
Consistent album. Bass work's good considering it's black metal. Definitely not the darkest sounding black metal, but a good sound I think.
And good live, too!
TULUS - EVIL 1999!!!
hey rauta dark funeral share your video with Heljarmadr interview u see it ?
Yeah, they told me. Really nice :-)
Slip knot is not in the Archives 😂 Along with many others they refuse to recognize as Metal
I know. It’s weird they are not there because bands like Mortiis are. Sometimes those rules on Metal Archives are just weird.
