It is exactly the opposite: in the majority of Embu you see the "standard Aikido". Yasuno-sensei in a way has transcended that and synthetized his own Aikido. A form of Aikido that you can criticize, indeed, but at least it comes from his own growth and experience. As an Italian I understand what you're saying but I have to use English, sorry for that
However abstract their ART may seem, All Aikikai Aikido masters have tremendous experience, knowledge, focus, power and skill. It might not be UFC or FIGHTING but they genuine masters of martial ARTS.
@@MB-jn5zi Stop philosophising and blabbering, I'm sorry to tell you, but for me, Yasuno isn't one of them, with his arrogance and above all his lack of respect for others. With the kind of fanatical people like you it doesn't help them to have humility either. Aikido masters!!! I'm going to name a few : Kishomaru Ueshiba, Koichi Tohei, Tadashi Abe, Gozo Shioda, Moshizuki, Nishio, Yoshio Kuroiwa Saito, Noro, Tamura, Saotome, Rambeloson Charles...
@Alpha-8 Just because you don't like Yasuno doesn't mean he suddenly is not an Aikido master. I know a lot of top senseis (7th Dans) who rate him. I have only ever trained with and met Tamura in person from your list, he was the best I have ever seen. Great person too! When the other top Japanese senseis were asked what O'Sensei was like they pointed to him! 👌
@@MB-jn5zi First of all, there's nothing to do with feelings and emotions, like or dislike here. In a debate, you present arguments facts. On my part it's an objective observation. Secondly, it's not because several 7th dan like him that that makes him a good sensei! If that's your argument, then I'll pass because it's poor. In Aikido, how many uke fall for nothing and Yasuno's Uke are among the first to do that and this is where I talk about guru, idolatry, a drift of modern Budo and especially Aikido. When there are guys like Yasuno who make martially useless mimicry that their students foolishly imitate. This is partly why young people are abandoning this art. What's more, when the majority of Aikido teachers are old men with big and fat bellies. Aikido doesn't deserve that. Have a good day.
