- Hot weather + Ulva = WILDCAMPING!
We whipped out our new MSR Hubba Hubba tent, Mountain Warehouse Microlite 1400 sleeping bags, pots, pans, and other camping necessities for a night of wild camping on the quiet island of Ulva.
With hot and sunny weather in Scotland you'd be a fool to miss out on a day like this, especially as the clouds descended swiftly the next morning...

I love watching your videos! However, I am really curious about what you were cooking? I think you should add a cooking segment! The food always looks so good! What is your favorite dish to cook on a rainy day in the van?
Thanks for the feedback! The food we had on Ulva was a 'Mug Shot' - packaged food you add boiling water to. I think we had the tomato pasta flavour :) very easy to hike with as they're light and don't take up any room and only require boiling water 👍. A food section is definitely something to think about :)
Theo's favourite dish has got to be tuna, pasta, sweet corn and mine is probably a vegetable curry. Both easy to whip up and enjoy quite fast!

Yeah agree, I'm in the process of deciding on gear at the moment, RUclips is great for this though, makes it much easier when i see reviews of certain items i like, going to try local to me first to get the hang of it as i haven't been camping for 20+ years,lol

Hi! I have a question regarding the safety of the equipment. For example, when you are going for a hike for a few hours and you are leaving somewhere your van. Laptops and all the other electronic equipment stays in the van or you take it all with you?
Have you ever been robbed?
Hi thanks for your question. We take everything of importance with us when we leave the van, especially due to being robbed back in December where they got away with a lot of stuff. We also have insurance but for piece of mind we never leave anything valuable behind. We'd just be stressing the whole time!
