1. Tuk Bima Lukar
Tuk Bima Lukar is an ancient retreat from the Hindu Mataram era whose spring is believed to be the starting point of the Serayu river, this spring is right on the north side of the road to the Dieng Plateau area.
2. The Source of Life
Serayu River is one of the sources of community life, this river makes the land around the river fertile. In addition, the Serayu River also produces sand and rocks along the river, so many sand miners can take it.
3. Dam Jendral Soedirman or Mrica Reservoir
Back in 1989 President Soeharto inaugurated the Commander General Sudirman Dam. This dam is also called the "mrica reservoir" which actually functions as a hydroelectric power plant serving the Java and Bali areas.
4. Serayu River Rafting or Arung Jeram Serayu
Serayu River is very iconic with its rafting activities. Especially in the Banjarnegara area, Serayu Rafting is a very popular tourist destination. Arung jeram / rafting was down the Serayu river wich is along the route a beautiful view is presented.
5. Songs : "Di tepinya Sungai Serayu"
In the 1940s, the legendary Banyumas composer, R Soetedja was inspired by the Serayu River. He composed a keroncong song that sits 'Di Tepinya Sungai Serayu'. Soeteja describes the flow of the water as 'tirta kencana", a symbol that the water is so clear and is a source of prosperity.
