It’s been 5 years of shitty anti-cheat that doesn’t work and only statements saying they’ll “fix” it which we all know is bs. The anti-cheat is so great that I had to uninstall bo6 since I got infinite shadow banned and I dont even cheat yet the real cheaters get to play and not get banned

Hopefully something good will come of this. I just miss barebones cod no crazy skins no crazy movements. Just some actual skill required gameplay. The new cods are completely rigged.

They should make a new front end like COD HQ for the classic CODs (COD4 through BO2) where it would let you queue for matches from every game. Like say you choose to play domination, you could be playing on MW3 but then the next match it brings you to BO1, etc. One can dream.

It would literally be the same games, you would just access match making through a separate application that links each individual game to each other. Your loadouts for each game will stay with each game. Since these games are old, it shouldn't be too much for newer hardware to handle an application like this launching them in the background and pulling them to the front as needed.

It is a shame because the Microsoft Store versions have way bigger install sizes for no reason and 0 online compatibility with the Steam releases on PC, so they're effectively dead online. If they do come to game pass odds are all the dope modded content and custom servers that people love won't be accessible, meaning it will still just be an inferior way to play those games compared to the existing Steam versions or custom services like Plutonium.

White boy is there weird input lag delay and weird stick issue with Xbox series consoles on these old games? I played on the series s a while ago and it felt really weird like the inputs weren’t registering properly
In my opinion the SBMM isn’t even bad. I like some competition, I don’t want spoon fed games. But it’s the EOMM that’s the real problem. The gunplay is extremely inconsistent. I will lose aim assist, I get aim resistance, and I have to put more bullets into people than they have to put into me.. all of a sudden my gun gets recoil that I hadn’t experienced in the beginning of the match.. The spawns make ranked play impossible. They switch spawns like every 10 seconds SBMM isn’t the problem, it the live mid match gunplay nerfing/ buffing It’s extremely inconsistent
The only good news for cod would be the removal of all manipulation systems and algorithms. Everything else is fluff i could care less about. Even releasing old cods i don't trust for a second it wont be full of the same shit. Same servers.

Now they are obsessed with dlc cosmetic sales because they make more money selling $30 skins and it keeps their stock price for shareholders of activision. Call of duty is forever cooked and its all fueled by greed.
