I ve had my T7 for about 3 months now. About 200 miles of paths and trails. Zero issues. As I mentioned on your earlier vid, mine came with Shimano cassette and hubs. It came in at 36.4 pounds. I agree with you, I feel the weight lends to stability down the trails. I don’t notice the weight much in the climbs but with that said, several pounds can be shed as parts wear and get replaced…. Pedals, bars, chainring, cranks, lighter tires and tubeless = 3.25 pounds. That puts you at 33 pounds with basic upgrades and not a huge expense. And of course, light rims, forks and hubs can get you to 30. The bike is awesome and a great foundation to build on when parts need replaced. Until then, definitely a bike you can ride the sh*t out of and have a blast. Thanks for the follow-up vid. I was waiting for it!

I've had my T7 for 2 years. Zero complaints... except for the colors. Lol
I see no point in getting another bike. I upgraded to a Lyrik Ultimate fork, Fox Float X shock, Magura MT7 Pro's, Magura MDR-P rotors and Absolute Black Oval ring.
Did it all over the last 2 years because I wanted to. Not because I needed to. Just wanted to see it at its full potential... it didn't disappoint. I will not be getting another bike for a very long time.

I've had the T7 for a year and a half and its been great! I threw on 60mm rise bars right away. The only things left stock are the rims, suspension and drivetrain. I even managed to squeeze in a 240mm dropper (XL frame)! I absolutely LOVE this bike!

I have upgraded a few things for my preferences but I get so many compliments on the color and everyone is always curious on how I like the bike . I always say I love it . Obviously anyone whose a good rider can do anything that someone with $5k bike is doing or most of the time , better haha . I will highly suggest this bike for anyone wanting a great overall bike without needing to upgrade anything right outta the box

You’re the man! You’re literally the only review I’ve listened to so far that called out the weight of this rig. Obviously if your well versed in bikes your going to know a more value-oriented bike is going to have to compromise on the weight department, but for a lot of newer riders that’s not something they’re necessarily thinking about when buying a new bike online. Thank you for calling that out and being a more fair assessment to your still very positive review.

I love mine. My only gripes are that sometimes the shifting is off (I feel the click in the shifter but the bike doesn't shift), and sometimes I feel a bit too pitched forward when the dropper seat is all the way up (hand fatigue).
These are minor annoyances that will probably be fixed with proper tuning, and perhaps (hopefully) minor upgrades.

My thoughts on the T7 vs T8 is both are awesome. But if you can afford the T8 go for it. You will get better parts. But the T7 for the price is such a good deal.

37-38 pounds is heavy. The HG driver coupled with the 12 speed is a little inconvenient. I think sunrace is fine but it's not exactly easy to find at many bike stores where I live. I probably wouldn't ride it happily without lighter wheels and tyres anyways (maybe some hunt trail wides). 2.6 inch is overkill for most things I and what most people probably ride. I have a polygon siskiu D7SE. It has an 11 speed 11-51 deore cassette which makes much more sense to me (simpler, HG driver on wheels). Managed to get it to ~30 pounds with some nice wheels (hunt xc wides) and tyres 2.3 DHF/2.25 reckon race. My experience with polygon and bikes online has been awesome. I have had my polygon bike for over a year now and can only say good things. I mostly do blues and greens with the occasional black.

To say that they are good for advavced rider is false. when I got my new bike few weeks ago,I discoverd that the T7 are Not balanced very well for advanced riders. they have a too forward center of gravity that makes them feel very heavy and after technical climbs I felt "dead". Thats not the case with my new bike(same category) and since then I could climb easly and save energy.

So I’ve had the ads pop up a few times for these bikes & they have me curious. Biggest reason I haven’t pulled the trigger is I really wanted to go 27.5 vs 29. I had a hard tail giant fathom that was a 29 & I didn’t like it that much. In all fairness I didn’t ride it enough to get used to it. I have been looking at the giant trance x3 27.5 but even on sale it’s 1k higher than the t7. By the time I did the upgrades would I have been better off to buy the trance to start with?

My last bike was a 2022 Rift Zone 1 which was great but everything I could do on the RZ I could ride on my hardtail since travel was 130mm and 125mm.
