Been shredding my T7 for 2 years great entry bike and a great price! The frame is built like a tank and I've taken mine on everything from jumps to really gnarly single track and I've never felt better on a bike in the woods. Enjoy the bike I love mine!
I love the Polygon Mountain Bike, I love the Grey & Black colour scheme & I’m going to learn how to do all of this Cool Mountain Bike stuff, it just looks Awesome. I reckon I’ll keep my Bike for at least 2 0 Years & I’d just upgrade the front suspension & rear shock every few years. I love the dropper post & am running tubeless tyres at a low pressure for comfort & better grip when riding!.. This Mountain Bike looks really Expensive & makes me look Rich!
How do you all feel about longer videos when I make them? I typically try to stay around 8-10 minutes but this one ran almost 20. let me know what you think?!?!?!
Great video! I've been eyeing this bike for a while for my son. He only has a freeride bike for bike park but needs something that can pedal and handle all the trails in Montana, including bike park. I'm going to pull the trigger today and buy one. Thanks for the review. Nice work!
I tried to buy a t8 a couple years ago. They didn't indicate it, but they were apparenty out of stock and let me buy it anyway. After waiting 3 weeks and nothing shipped, I cancelled my order and ended up buying a Diamondback Release instead. Both are solid bikes. Fair warning for anyone going this route - see if they have the bike you are buying, especialy if you are in a hurry or comparison shopping against another deal that is time-sensitive.
How do you like your diamondback release? And who sells them where do I order one from? I'm looking at getting a full suspension bike was thinking about going with the polygon D5 special edition it's on sale right now for pretty cheap and I can upgrade stuff myself
Super informative video!! The length was not an issue at all, given that you showed the bike capabilities very well. Riding a Trek Marlin 6 hard tail and looking for a budget full suspension. This is definitely one to consider. Thank you for a great review and maybe we’ll run into each other at Griffin sometime.
I am a novice and weigh 275 pounds, which I hope to work off mountain biking. I have a T7 and would like to know what I should do with it suspension-wise. Also, I have 29" VEE tires similar to flow snaps limited to 40 PSI. The sidewalls say they're tubeless. What should I do with these pressure wise? They are pretty nice, close to 2.6" wide.
Im really considering this bike now. I use a hard tail that cost me 800 but I upgraded the front shock to rockshox but I want to upgrade to full suspension but still not spend 3-6k since Im still a beginner.
$1449! Definitely best bang for the buck for under $2k. Mine is the older one that came with the Shiamno hubs and cassette vs the one you got with Novatec hubs and sunrace cassette
@tachoma8493 glad you enjoyed it! I personally feel the T8 at the price is a terrific deal. Parts and components are all nice and Unless you find other brands discounted it will be a great deal. Canyon have some nice options on sell as well so you can definitely check them out. But, I do like the Polygon for what you get at the price 😁
So, you're 5'10 and a Medium fits OK? I bought a D7se in Medium and it feels small even though the bike sizer recommended it. Was going to return in for a T7 in Large because that's what the online sizer recommends. D7se in Large is OOS. I am only ~5'9" though.
Honestly at the end of the day they have their "recommendations" but you still may not like how it fit and feels. I am 5' 10" with a 32" inseam and this bike felt and rode great for me. I'd say if you don't like it definitely go for the large and see 😁😁😁
Most of my main videos are between like 16 minutes and 20 minutes. The only difference to me is if it's a longer video like this I don't always watch it right away I wait until I know I have 20 minutes to sit and watch it but I always do watch it
Do you typically ride mediums? I’m the same height as you and cannot figure out if a medium or large is best suited. According to polygons charts I’m right in between frame sizes.
So, I typically ride mediums and this video is a medium. I have recently had a T9 sent to me for review and it is a large. The large honestly fits very nicely 😁
Do you still have your Binary Maniac? I was between this and the Banshee but Steve convinced me to get the Banshee after i watched his review on the bike. @@chickensendies

Great review! I love Polygon. They make good bikes accessible to more people.
Appreciate it man! I'll probably end up snagging a Polygon someday HAHAHAHA

Didn't feel like 20min. Good mix of riding and talking, so more this 💪🔥
Idk how I feel about the longer videos. Keep making them though, I was entertained. I like that at the end of the ride you talk about the bike.
Seems like a good bike if you couldn't find a single negative thing to say about it.
Very well done 20 minutes was appropriate for all you did, there was nothing I would have cut out
Perfect length.

Appreciate it and glad you found it helpful!!! Tell him congrats on the new bike!!! 😁😁😁

Appreciate the heads up on this but glad you ended up with a bike you are happy with!

You did a real good job narrating while you were riding definitely didn't need music on that part
Appreciate the feedback!!!

Appreciate the kind words and glad you enjoyed it! This is definitely a great bike for the price imo! Let me know if you snag one!!!
Always impressed you give the review while riding! I’d be absolutely gassed 😅
Definitely depends on the day! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great riding! Glad you enjoyed the bike. 🤜🤛
Absolutely stellar bike for the price! Appreciate you man! 😁
I got this for 3rd bike collection i change front and rear suspension for Ohlins cockpits with the maguras brake it's a beast🔥
Definitely a great bike for the price!!! I loved riding it 😁😁😁

i love the colorway on it. i'd like a 150mm rear travel version to sit in between this one and the new colossus
I really enjoyed tgis bike. The color is very sharp in person 😁😁😁
Nice test ride! I have the polygon D5 and upgraded it a little bit and I really like it also.
I have ridden 2 polygons now and have been very impressed with both of them! Definitely nice bikes!
I'm looking at getting the D5SE it's on sale right now and I can do upgrades myself as needed so you really like the bike?
@@MTB_FANATIC99 Hi I like mine but for all the $ you put into it you could just buy a better higher model that's what I learned. Thanks for watching.

Good to know on that info!
I like this bike a lot. Best budget full suspension bike for a lot of entry level riders
100% agree! Plenty of room to grow and learn with as well!
A good review of Polygon.
I'm leaning on a T8 . Any thoughts?
Anything comparable on the price of T8.
THANK YOU .
@tachoma8493 glad you enjoyed it!

they're one of the best budget brand, enough for most people
@@notchipotle Absolutely! Good bang for buck and will handle pretty much everything you toss at them 😁
Terrific video. Would have liked to hear your assessment of the bars. Height? Sweep? Width? Stem? This video helped.
For me with those specifics I really thought it was all very nice. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the comment 😁
where is this?
Terre Haute, IN. It is called Griffin Bike Park 😁

Bikes Online have this for $2200 at the moment here in Australia.
$1200 in US today!

I hear this! I typically watch in the evenings while I am in bed HAHAHA
I was just at griffin bike park last month
Place is terrific 😁
This or the canyon neuron 5??? Both about the same price
@jonesy3002 I used to have a canyon and absolutely loved it. I'd say you can't go wrong with either, so whichever one you like the most go for!

So, I typically ride mediums and this video is a medium. I have recently had a T9 sent to me for review and it is a large. The large honestly fits very nicely 😁
So basically both would be rideable, just comes down to preference then?
@wheelinkid00 imo, yes! I was very surprised with how nice the large felt though 😁 5' 10" with a 32" inseam. I would go large personally
Right on I appreciate the response!
@wheelinkid00 of course! If you snag one let me know what you think! 😁
thanks for the review, how tall are you?
Of course! I am 5' 10" with a 32" inseam
Why yhe cassette is black? It should be silver
hell yeah dude this is sickkkkkk
Bike is very nice for the price! Appreciate you watching!!!
Where is this?
This is Griffin Bike Park by Terre Haute, Indiana
What did you do with your Ledge X1?
I actually ended up selling it to a bud to help him get into bikin 😁
Full suspensiion bikes are not bad. But i will keep on riding my Banshee Paradox V3 everywhere. Hardtails for life !!
Hardtail will always be my primary choice as well 😁
Do you still have your Binary Maniac?
I was between this and the Banshee but Steve convinced me to get the Banshee after i watched his review on the bike. @@chickensendies
@@frank8278 Yep! It is my main bike! I only rode this one to review. It is actually a buddies bike and not mine.
Nice!!!@@chickensendies
Maybe we ship each other the bikes for a review in the future
I love that their website recommends not using it on drops bigger than 1 meter. Yet it’s marketed as a XC/trail bike lol
Definitely hit drops bigger than 1-meter...... 😅😅😅😅 Oops lol
@@chickensendies aaaaah man. There’s goes your warranty from the MTB company that doesn’t want you to MTB
@ciaranjasper9738 Ahhhhhh man..... 🤣🤣🤣 At the end of the day though this is a very nice bike for the price!
@@chickensendies that’s what drew me to it
@@Zenek143 Did you snag one yourself?
What trail is that?
This was recorded at Griffin Bike Park. Can you give me a time stamp so I can help single it down to which trail it is there you are asking about 😁
I was wandering about all the trails
@rooster_mtb ahhhh gotcha! Then Griffin Bike Park by Terre Haute, IN 😁
Video didn't seem long at all
Thanks, keo! I like how this one turned out!
In 3000 miles of rocks I have broken 3 spoke nipples, otherwise SOLID!
That is honestly pretty impressive!!! Glad you are enjoying yours so much 😁😁😁
Just buy t7,t8 t9
Got a few options for sure 😁
Another youtuber pushing Polygon 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
They are great for the price so why wouldn't people push them?
What’s wrong them?
@dominicpreiss1211 Sadly some people just like to leave negative comments.... Polygon Bikes are terrific for the price.
It's Siskiu
Whoops! Little typing error there. Easy fix and appreciate it!
