@@cheezycup most likely because you have to draw everything from scratch. sure you can use 2d rigging but it would take more effort when it comes to fight scenes whereas you'll be needing to animate it by frame anyway. plus the colouring and rendering not to mention backgrounds

The glitching characters are the the elemental masters. We were introduced to them on movie 2. The new guys are from season 2 which are currently only in comic form 😌🙏✨
