Honda elevate cvt available on various model ..top model is 71k less than kia ivt ....seltos ivt kase bhi chala lo .... milege is 10-11 max kmpl....
Owner wants only looks looks n looks, engine doesn't matter, mileage doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is looks 🤣
first priority looks and second was mileage. And Selto's non turbo engine is tested and reliable. which this guys opted for. What you on?

I am planning to buy either Hyundai creta SX(O) Automatic or Kia HTX automatic. Which one would you go with.
Secondly, Is automatic vehicle good for occasional drive in hills ?
To be honest if I had only these two options in my list then I would have gone for a turbo engine if it has to be automatic. As NA engines lacks power when it comes to Automatic gearbox.
Out of the two I would have gone for Seltos, as it has recently got facelift or else I would have waited a bit more as Creta’s facelift is about to launch soon.
Also, NA engine + Automatic Gearbox is never a good option for driving in hills. The vehicle struggles a lot to climb up.

This one has a upgraded suspension, which is on the softer side. Rides are smoother now.

Yes. There is an evident difference in these. In iVT, you will feel a lot of rubber band effect. Specially in the NA engine. If you want to go for iVT, opt for turbo variant.

Bhai hum Sonet chala rahe hai DCT Petrol and maximum mileage I am getting in City is 14 kmpl. Max highway expectation is 16 kmpl. But if someone is saying they are getting 18 or 19 , I would doubt them

With light foot- Around 15-17 KMPL in city and 19-20 KMPL on highways
Impossible. Our amaze cvt struggles to get these numbers. 1.5 ltr will give even less mileage.
I have seltos petrol ivt model. It gives 9-10 in city and 15 on highway.

How reliable is CVT/IVT transmission of Hyundai/Kia ?
Haven't seen any complaints regarding it.
However, the non turbo engines of Koreans are only good in plains. These engines with Automatic transmission and without turbo are not meant for hilly areas.

When it comes to engines. Nothing is better than Germans. I will vote for VW/Skoda anytime.

VWs and Skodas are not known for reliability. But their TSI plus DSG gearbox cars are fun to drive.
After a certain kms, around 50K they are more prone to giving troubles though.
You can get used German cars at low prices here in UAE since reliability determines the car prices in used car market the most. Japanese vehicles like Toyotas, Hondas, and Mazdas are valued high.

Elevate base model Rs. 12.50 LAKH aur Seltos Base Model 12.16 LAKH ka mil raha hai. Kaunsa lena chahiye? Ek middle person ke liye Kaunsi gaadi worth it. Please reply asap.

Majorly run agr hills ka h to you should go for dono ka performance bhi same hi rahega almost kyunki dono k base model naturally aspirated petrol engine h. Better mere according Elevate rahegi kyunki 1.5 L iVtec engine Honda city ka bhot reliable engine h. Long term me problem nhi dega agr timely maintenance hoti rahegi to.

I also have Seltos IVT facelift and tbh same k-code story while booking it,, whatever this guy said about this car is true..
This car is super smooth and tbh I am getting 19 km/l mileage while driving at 90-95 km/h on highway and on combined with city I am getting around 16 km/h mostly tank to tank..
Only limitation is you will have the gas peddle little heavy initially but after some time it will feel lighter..Also you should not press the peddle harder to accelerate it fast you must gradually press the peddle to increase the speed..
It has 1 sec power lag initially at less speed but it has more than enough power if compare with any NA petrol engine.

Hardly of 1KMPL. As iVT itself is a very intelligent transmission.
My suggestion would be, before you bring the machine home, go and test drive Honda Elevate once.

htx plus, gtx plus and xline. These three only get front ventilated seats and some additional features than htx.

Which is better ivt or dct
iVT is definitely better. The gear shifts are smoother. And very suitable for city traffic.
The only drawback for iVT gearbox is, that it is expensive to maintain and repair.
So you say that ivt is costlier to maintain than dct??? Thats totally new knowledge...😂😂
