Also, I have HTX iVT Variant and the mileage has not crossed above 9 kmpl after 1500kms, so it would be really great if you could add a short section of real world mileage test in your video.
It will not give more than 9kmpl before 5000 kms mark
I was also getting mileage of around 8-10 kmpl in city but, after 1st service it started giving me around 11.5-12 kmpl.
Fyi, I have GTX 1.5T petrol
My 1st service is done, they don't even change the engine oil or anything there's just cleaning & checking. So my mileage is still same!@@KilluaZolydck10

depends on your driving bro, if you're always stuck in bumber to bumper traffic then you won't get more than that. if you want to avg it out, go in highways in the speed of 70 to 80 kmph and it gives you around 18 kmpl. Hope this helps

I own seltos facelift xline variant and changed the tyres to Vredestein and drove around 2K kms and it feels a lot smoother than previous version. BTW I also own 2019 seltos diesel as my father owns, so i can justify easily

Kia Seltos gives the best bang for the buck.. I only wish they work on their build-quality. Given the fact that Verna by its sister company has achieved a 5🌟 rating, it’s not difficult if they focus on it..
The victims of that infamous accident of Seltos, जिसमें वो दो-फाड़ हो गई थी, were from my town. That’s the reason for my predicament towards its build quality..
Not trying to defend Seltos, but almost all cars have split in accidents.

@@GaganChoudhary Agreed to your point, bhai.. And yes, speed was the most important reason for it. However, customers today are more demanding for safety. Even Verna is questioned for its ‘unstable body shell’ despite having 5 star rating.
Simply put, Kia should work on structural integrity. It has given good frosting and lot of cherries on the cake, now it just needs to ensure that it is baked properly first.

Tob model Elevate is better option than mid level seltos if you want 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol engine within range of 18-19 lakhs. Also top model elevate offers adas and mid range seltos doesn't
If you have more budget then definitely go with GTX or X-line seltos for 23-24 lakhs.
So all in all if you have higher budget and want turbo petrol or diesel and best in class features only then go for top variants of seltos. Lower variants of seltos is not worth.
I own gtx plus manual (1.4 tgdi ) for almost 2.5 years and driven over 40,000 kms as per my research it was the perfect fit for my requirement that time and stilling loving the car it never felt old to me and it was loaded with features in 2019 which some manufacturers still can’t provide in 2024 and best experience is service quality and cheap hassle free service package availability. And i love the glacier white pearl color which best white provided by any oem imo under this category and i miss the red accents from older seltos gt line.

Decent 14Km/L in Eco mode in city. Highways give 17.5 KM/L whole cruising around 80-100 KM/L

Bro what about the build quality and NCAP ratings ?? Having so many safety features won’t fulfil the purpose if the basic structure is not strong enough. We have seen Seltos accidents where the car got into 2 pieces. They have everything but User cannot trust them for their safety, If they can work on this aspect I think no other current brand in India can beat them in sales.

Gagan Bhai I am fan of your content. However, one thing could have been highlighted. Regardless of 15 point safety checkpoints/kit, the car has only 3 stars in safety rating. As you have said in the start, now the customers are demanding many things and this includes safety as well.
