कास्टिंग निर्देशक अभिषेक बनर्जी एक बंगाली फॅमिली से हैं I उन्होंने अपने करिअर की शुरुआत मशहूर फिल्म कलाकार अजय देवगन की फिल्म Once Upon a Time in Mumbai से की हैं I दरअसल उन्हें ऐक्टिंग में करिअर करना था, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने अंदर की आवाज सुनकर कास्टिंग निर्देशक फिल्ड को चुना और उसमे वे कामयाब रहे I उसके बाद उन्होंने पीछे मुड़के नहीं देखा I

Casting director Abhishek Banerjee belongs to a Bengali family. He started his career with Ajay Devgan's Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. Though he wanted to be an actor, star in Bollywood movies and do acting his guts said otherwise. He listened to his inner voice and become a successful casting director. Then there was no looking back. He was the casting director of many Bollywood movies - Toilet Ek prem Katha, Dirty Picture, Secret Superstar etc. He has also acted in TVF Pitchers, Humorously Yours, Mirzapur, etc. He has recently played a very strong character, named Hathoda Tyagi in a Prime Orginal Crime-Thriller, Patal Lok.
