Like in the ancient tooth-worm notion lasting millenia that tooth caries was due to a worm the present asthma theory about treating asthma with medication is wrong and we have the asthma-paradox that more medication causes more asthma.
In other cultures mudras such as pressing a finger against the thumb (chin mudra) are used to treat asthma by relaxing our lung airways.
Christian prayer with interlaced fingers is the ambuja mudra.

@@glitzyx4x852 according to SYGMA1 trial, isolated SABA is inferior to low dose Budesonide and Formoterol combination, so the guidelines has been changed on GINA 2019

    K.P. Buteyko once said that:
To test the validity of the scientific discovery made by us almost 30 years ago, it takes 30 seconds of time: offer an asthmatic hyperventilation - he will have a suffocation attack, offer to reduce breathing - will relieve the attack. The cause of the asthma attack is hyperventilation of the lungs, no one said this before our scientific research. And so I have been asking scientists for 30 years to spend 30 seconds to check this (1986).

Should you take steroid inhalers every day for the rest of your life or there are periods throughout the year? Because it is said that you should take them even if there's no symptoms.
