Great video, as usual. Every time I finish watching a square one video I immediately open SketchUp and try the new things I never realized I could do.

I started with SketchUp about 10 years ago, but have been using it a lot for past 3 years. Yet, I'm amazed at how much I learn from your Square One videos! Please keep them coming.

Thanks. That down arrow and the shift commands, in the past couple of videos, is really helpful.

After the the last exercise, inference-locking in rotate, this abstract example was a breakthrough. My suggestion would be to apply it in a practical example. You mention shingles. Would it be germane to, say angle-modification of PV panels, for example. My brain hasn't processed what you did there as yet, as well. Thank you for the excellent stream of videos, Aaron.

Wow! That was a good one. Nuance you might not pick up on your own just hacking around. A lot of frustration can be avoided if you know these things. I know!

you need to create a video on how to avoid Inferencing locks, to avoid unintended snapping

Hi, great video! you didn't mention using the tape/distance tool for inferencing?

THANKS! I have always struggled with rotating in the desired plane and never even thought to try the inference lock keys. I use inference locking all the time with the Move command but never thought to try it with Rotate. Boy do I feel dumb.

Love your videos great content! One problem I have had is rotating an object or a group to span two points. Like a roof rafter from a ridge beam to a studwall. Would this trick help?

Inferrencing has been infuriating up until now. Understanding Inferrencing has totally changed the way I use Sketchup

Hi Rafael! All of our videos are set up for automatic closed captioning and auto-translation. I just checked and was able to enable Spanish translation for this and our past few videos. Is there a video that you are unable to see subtitles in?
