The best tip of this video is the horizon leveler at 5.34 minutes on the back of that drill. Just what I was searching for. At Aliexpress for less than 2 USA. Just bought 4 of them. I don't want to search for it in future when I need one.
Nice to have the extra length! Made one for mine (different saw) a while back, then built a tall tenon jig to go over that. I'll pass this on to my son for his DeWalt. ;-) Love the straw trick for glue!! Thanks My Friend!

Can you please explain what you did at about 6:30 in the video to make the fence face perpendicular to the table surface? You backed out the screws and then put them in again while squeezing the assembly in the vise - and I can see how it would move the bottom of the fence outward appropriately - but don't you lose square again when tightening the screws?

Nice and simple. :) I recently bought a 2080 slotted aluminium profile (20x80x1000mm, 6mm slots) for this purpose. I mounted it to the fence with a bracket made from a couple of pieces of scrap plywood screwed to some T-nuts in the top T-slot in the profile. I deliberatly made the holes for the screws a bit oversized to allow for adjustment, so the profile could sit snuggly against the fence. The exact width of 20mm also allows me to use the scale for the fence, I just have to add the 20mm to whatever measurement I'm going for. At some point in the future, I might screw a support piece to the bottom of both ends to act as infeed and outfeed support. I will have to shim them though, as the bottom of the profile sits slightly above the table.

In the US, you would have to first scrape all the gum off the bottoms of those school desktops.
