I was there when we won the cup in 1983, and again in another travels in about 88/89 when I knew a girl from Boston. I'm sure it's very different but I could kinda recognise the different wharfs. This Aussie spent plenty of time in NE in the 80s. Great days

Wow! It must have been a good job and interesting to see the place from that perspective.

Michael, we do similar day trips on a few of the Aussie 12 meters on Sydney Harbour. Massive sails, narrow hulls, no electric winches. They are great.

Great video. The American Flag on a mast was a great sight to see. So cool! The restaurants in Rhode Island are great. Very unique. I've driven through the area dozens of times in my travels to NY, Connecticut, Massachusetts, & New Hampshire. Downside, to many people there. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you two had a great time there.👍😎👍💕

Thanks Pete! We loved the American flag on Wild Horses, it was so beautiful. I’m glad you’ve had a chance to check out this area. It is truly unique, though yes there are a lot of people. Thanks for watching!

Did you plan to be there during the regatta? Was it difficult to book a slip then, or did the pandemic make it less crowded than usual? Thanks for showing all this, especially the museum visit and the cliff walk!

We didn’t plan to be there during the regatta. We were just lucky! It was pretty early in the season so there was still availability. The beginning of June was the first time people were put and about since the start of the pandemic so the town overall was pretty busy especially on weekends. We’re so glad you enjoyed the video!!
