I've got the CS-310 and CS-590. Both are great saws. I really like the CS-310, it's does a great job on all but the biggest cutting jobs.
The CS-590 has a lot of horsepower, but weighs 6 pounds more than the CS-310, which really matters when cutting, for old guys like me.
You can't go wrong with either saw.

62shalaka I have them both too. The 590 with 28 skip tooth and 310 with 16”. I run stihl chain on both. And both have limiter caps deleted and muffler mods. They rip!

I've had one for a little over a year now and it has cut a few 20 in. trees as well as big limbs. All in all, a great saw. I recommend it a lot...😊

Worked great right out of the boxSnapper I'm constantly cutting trees, here in Hawaii, and it does the job I need it to do without any problems.

Very good, I have CS 310, but I was wondering if I could Replace the 14" maybe a 16 "blade.what are your thoughts!?

Yes you can. I have replaced both my 14” blades with 16” blades.

You can upgrade your bar to a 16inch. It was actually an option that I went with when I purchased mine...

Just bought an echo cs 590 timber wolf and LOVE IT. CAN'T BOG IT! So I bought a "barely used" cs 310 and it runs like new. Take it to a tree after purchase and it's a dog. A DOG! WTF! Just happened lol. I'm thinking, new bar and chain, muffler mod, and a re-jet in the carb will wake it up. Seems like an abused saw. Especially if the one in this video is really a cs-310.

It’s decaying. The tree is dead and that’s why it was cut down.
