As my beautiful wife just said, "in what OTHER world would a basket of apples left by stranger, without question, be eaten?" And I have to admit, as a Gen X, no other world. We grew up with, "there are razor blades in your apples" before every Halloween! 😄
The trail provides some incredible people who help the hikers. Glad you found great hosts who offer slackpacking. Sorry about the frustration of finding shoes. It seems every year hikers run into that problem. Hope you find the right shoes soon.
Now that Chuck completed the half gallon challenge, he's all set to enter the national hotdog eating contest. The 2023 winner ate 63 hotdogs. Surely Chuck is up for the challenge!! 😂😂😂
