Brilliant Save From Mads Hermansen + Goal From Jamie Vardy, Mavididi, Wilfried Ndidi, Kasey McAtter. Leicester City Winners Against Southampton In The St'Mary Stadium Score By 1-4. Commentator : Chris Parrott & Matt Elliot.
Looking very strong. But still work to be done. To be fair both sides had their chances, and both made some defensive blunders. Great win and good luck to Southampton for their season
I thought this was going to be a tough one (like Hull City), but my word was I wrong. Southampton must still be haunted by 0-9 memories when Vardy scored in 22 seconds, because they then completely collapsed (though not before giving Southampton fans a glimmer of hope by scoring when we were up 2)
Ever since your incredible title win in 2016, I've fallen in love with the club. I'd like you see you guys win promotion! Also, can someone please tell me what happened towards the end of 2021/22 and before the start of last season that caused your relegation? One more thing, I'm looking forward to the game v Blackburn Rovers!
Brendenball. His arrogance is what did it. Left the best players out and played the same error prone players week in week out. But it come down to the board as they should have sacked him alot sooner.
@@paulkettell5415 I heard he wanted to challenge for European spots, but wasn't backed in the transfer market, so had to change from what they were in 2021 to relegation battlers.
@@Ese96Agoaye as a season ticket holder and home and away for years that's absolutely waffle. He got rid of the leaders. Never trusted his squad. Held onto players who just are not good enough. Reality is you keep Kasper sign a Cb and a winger and that squad would have not got relegated. What happened honestly just a shambles from start to finish. He was totally responsible for the tactics and team selection. But at end of day every fan that goes to the games would tell you the board should have got rid a lot earlier. But we paid price for that. In hindsight I'm glad we now have a squad that wants to be here and is fighting. Without Brenden who stayed way to long and his style of football is now out of date. Possession has to be productive watch us this year. His possession style is possession for the sake of it. No substance.
Multiple factors. We were hamstrung in the transfer window which not only meant we couldn't make any signings but we also had far too many players on fat wages who weren't playing good football stuck in contracts. Brendan insisted on picking the players who weren't performing and was ignorant of the situation, which frustrated me because I like the guy but even as an armchair expert I was bemused by his lack of management depth. We were mid-table after recovering from winning 1 in the first 10 matches, but everything went from bad to worse after the WC. Rodgers should have been sacked sooner, and his replacement should not have been Dean Smith. I knew we were down when Fulham put 5 past us, with 3 games left. Hopefully we'll return to the Prem next season with hungry players, where we belong.
Still feel we are making a lot of mistakes at the back. We would be punished in the prem for the mistakes we are making ? Nevertheless good game, mavididi looking slick 👌🏻
This is the Leicester I knew I know and I'll know
