Sabrina’s probably one of the most underrated artists… this is her 5th album, I highly recommend you to check out her other albums: singular act 1 and 2

literally, one of the best of 2022
not her debut album, sabrina signed her first contract at 13 and has been releasing albums and writing music, but this is definitely the first album where she is in control and her most personal album yet since she signed to a new label and left her old one last year. sabrina has been through a lot the past 2 years with her reputation and personal life and relationship i think she reflected her emotions really well in this record. she is also an actress was in the disney reboot of boy meets world, has done other films like the hate u give, clouds, work it, she just sold a movie to netflix a new reimagined musical movie of alice in wonderland. she’s very talented and the sweetest!
It’s worth mentioning that because I liked a boy is a direct reference to the Olivia Rodrigo drama.

as a disney kid i became obsessed with sabrina before she even had her first album out. i swear she was the only person i listened to for almost 4 years. her style of pop, while people compare her to ariana a lot i think is something she’s been building by herself since she was 13 cause you can definitely still hear it in eyes wide open:) skinny dipping is one of my favourite songs of all time btw:)
also if you wanna look at some other stuff i’d highly recommend honeymoon fades, paris, looking at me, on purpose, shadows, sue me & take you back. idk though cause she has so many songs and i think she’s worth checking out fully🫶

I’ve been beyond obsessed with this album. It’s actually super interesting to hear someone listen to the album without knowing (or at least it seems like) the whole Olivia/Joshua/Sabrina drama that went down which would give such strong context to Because I Liked a Boy (and Vicious imo).
Also apparently she named the album this because she was writing emails while she was going through stuff and didn’t have a therapist and essentially put 2.5 years of trauma into one album which maybe always hints to the use of caps in some titles, maybe it’s different periods of her life.
Also tornado warnings is apparently based off a real situation where she was with a guy and got literal tornado warnings on her phone and ignored them. She also decided to not tell her therapist and that’s when she learned she probably didn’t have a good therapist if she didn’t feel comfortable lol.
Anyways, this album is incredible I’m so so so so obsessed.

Bad for business and Decode had such Lana Del Rey vibes! I love that!! This album is a masterpiece for sure! The storytelling and vocals! Yes Taylor Swifts song “happiness” was one of the inspirations for this album! When I saw that I lost it!

I’ve had this album on repeat since it came out! I didn’t listen to her before, but I’m now a huge fan and have gone back and found some really good songs in her older stuff.
Some of the songs you really enjoyed (i.e. Skinny Dipping, Tornado Warnings) are very Julia Michaels style (who wrote on half of the album). I’m a huge Julia Michaels fan, which is actually why I decided to check out the album to begin with. You’d probably like a lot of Julia’s discography.
There were a couple songs that gave me Noah Cyrus vibes. Not sure if you’ve ever checked out her work, but she’s brilliant too.
The album is incredible, so diverse too! So many different sounds which makes is familiar on a first listen which I like!

This album did not disappoint! Definitely react to Singular Act 1 (my fave by her) and Act 2, they've got more upbeat bops so that's a change from this one 😌

tornado warnings is actually based on a real story. she was out with this person she knew in her head she wasn’t meant to be. she got a tornado warning on her phone and ignored it. she also talked about the fact that she payed 200 a session for her therapist yet was still lying to him:)

Loved this reaction! Thank you for this. Anw, since you liked her, you should listen to her Singular Act 1 and 2 albums!!! My personal fave from those are Exhale, Sue Me, Hold Tight, Bad Time, and In My Bed! She is pure talent, very versatile artist, funny, and just authentic. I love her so much. Also listen to her collab with Jonas Blue (Alien) and Zara Larsson (WOW). They are soooo good.

This album surprised me bc I didnt think I would like it from the singles but its very solid
I’ve never seen anyone react to The Fool by Ryn Weaver but it’s one of the best and unique pop albums that I think you would enjoy!
