I've really gotta work on my draw. Everything else is progressing so well for me, but distance on the draw is a struggle I've had trouble overcoming. I'll get there, I've just gotta keep at it. Anyways, another banger of a video. 👍

@ Thank you Ricardo. I too struggled at the draw shot. It took me awhile but once I learned to shoot draws with the most finesse as possible, I then was able to pull the cue ball back with ease.
Advice; always maintain a loose fingered grip and keep a flexible wrist 👍🏻

Good tips Ron. Reverse spin rail shots are always cool to pull off, especially if you can do it consistently and predictably

@@tiarnaigh Thank you Tiarnaigh. Players that have mastered their draw shot technique, they are the ones that can pull off these shots with consistency.
Personally, once I learned to not bang at these shots but rather smooth stroke them, that’s when I began consistently pull them off 👍🏻

Definitely a great shot to have. Have you been watching the Mosconi Cup?

Awesome video as always Ron. I would like to purchase a elephant ball but Google comes up with nothing. Do you know of anywhere selling them. Thanks for all the work you do to help us improve our game.

Elephant balls are unfortunately no longer made.
You may however be able to find one on eBay but not sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Ron, thanks for the video - time to get some practice on this now! On a different note, what type of overhead camera are you using to capture the video?

I’m using a GoPro Hero 9 Black Ken.
      You’re welcome!

I like to show new players how spin changes the angle off a cushion with a striped ball, and just spinning it by hand. Very basic, but it might help someone grasp it better?
Either in a video, or if someone is reading this.......try it yourself.
*With a forward roll and a draw / backwards roll into the cushion.
    Left and right spin.
    ...
    It's almost Mosconi time! USA!
