Lester, I have been a horse person all my long life. I never had pleasure being around a draft horse like Roman. I have fallen in love with him. I just want to give him a big hug. It isn't going to be too long before Rita will be a beautiful gray. I am so happy that big majestic TEX allows our Chuck to be able to join the Longhorns.
FYI..there's less bounce to the once while riding a draft horse 🐎 than a non draft horse.. I've had both non draft horses & percherons, spotted draft horses 😊

Lester - I had a kitty that only liked pate style wet food. Barnadette is doing what my kitty used to do… licking all the juice out and only eating some chunks.

Lester, it's hard to get the food around the corners! Try putting a salad plate out and put the food on a plate. That way, she can get to all of it. ❤🐈 The can moves around when she tries to get to it.

Cats don't like their whiskers touching the sides of things. Their whiskers are very important, they use them in alot of ways. Flat bowls or plates are the best way to feed. I have semi wild barn cats. I started putting feed out in cans and they wouldn't touch it.. put it on a mineral bucket lid and they ate it up.

Your horses are safer with the horned bull out of their area. I once had a horned goat puncture the side of my horse. It was unprovoked. It's just safer for your horses. Chuck seems happy with his own kind.

Mine took a liking to the savory centers ones for a bit. Which is basically gravy in the center of the pate. My girls never ever , my oldest was 18.5 when she crossed the bridge, would eat the meat slices in gravy ones. Like yours they would lick all the gravy off.

Watching on replay. When growing up in Michigan, every spring the bottom would fall out of our dirt road, my dad would disk it to help dry it out. Close to what you do to pastures.
I agree with taking food out of the cans. She can’t get to it. Plus the metal can could cut her if it’s sharp. She may like “Pate” better also. Plus they don’t like their whiskers touching, or bending they are very sensitive. ❤️
Lester, if that system of putting the water trough up against the fence works would the same system work by building a small retaining wall out in the pasture and securing the water troughs up against it

Hi Lester, Hope you see this.... Your Gladiator pasture where the water is.. I think it will not be all that mud - if you put the water containers up on a wood palette (like your hay comes on). AND I am sure your drain is toward the pasture - put the drain in the back towards the fence, and let it drain to the grass on the other side of the pasture. Hope that made sense? LOL. Hey Lester. I wanted to tell you how amazing pea gravel is for muddy areas. I put it down for my 🐕 trails they make in my 6-foot fenced-in yard. They have 24/7 access thru their doggie door. It dosent hurt my bare feet or their feet to walk on. I use river rock around my fence to keep mud off it and around my house. Just a suggestion if you wanna try it. Grass even grows right thru it which is nice. My backyard is a steep slope so it helps greatly. ❤
Barnadette might be having trouble getting canned food out. My cat never had can food, my vet says it's bad for their teeth, but can food is good for cats with bad teeth. I am glad Chucky is doing so good. It's fun to see kids, dance 🕺 😅....❤ U All 🌞🙏🌞
My brother get high traffic areas around the gates where the cows wait to come in to be milked. They make a right mess. He has to put them up in the Winter because it is so wet in the U.K.

Those little metal round cat dishes are the best, no corners, they get to food easily, they can't dig it out of the cans.

You need to get her a easy clean cat dish - that way she won't get cut on the cans. Lester. give them a pat for me.

Yes flat plates are best for cats. They get cuts on the side of the can and it hurts their whiskers so that's why they won't finish the can food.
My cats have an issue on a flat plate, they both end up sliding it all off lol
