This is beautiful. It's very elegant and simple and the bling and lace are just enough to elevate it without taking away from the clean lines. I would love to see it in a red or black or maybe a royal blue as a bridesmaid gown paired with a more lux wedding dress or maybe as a prom dress or other red carpet event gown.
A really cool trick I learned when putting in button loop I'm not sure if you have ever tried, when you cut how many loops you want to use, cut 1 extra, then fold it down to double up what would be your first button loop, and sew it down as one. It gives it a much stronger hold for the top button, and reduces the chance it might pop open🤗 love your vids, keep up with the fantastic work💕
Mom that Sews I did Join, I just started learning how to sew less than two years ago, and I am fascinated by wedding dresses and evening gowns and all that, I made a couple dresses, evening dresses already, but only for practice, I still don’t feel confident enough to take a client. I need to learn how to grade patterns,l.
Marcus Keppi hey Hun. I am in the group too if you ever need any help message me I also have a channel for designing gowns not nearly as active as Amanda but I am working on it. Lol. Sewinglace4u is my channel.
Yes, I want to see everything you want to show us how to do. This dress is beautiful! I love the flowers over the shoulders. I love how everything turned out!!! Why do I see short gloves with this dress???? Hmmm. 😍😍😍😍. Awesome job Amanda!
LOVE your videos!! I’m making my daughter’s wedding dress and this is so very helpful. Thank you thank you thank you for doing these. Btw. I love the kids and you are phenomenal!!
This dress is amazing. It reminds me a lot of my wedding dress and the silhouette is beautiful. I'm wondering, how long did it take you in total to complete this dress? And if it's not too much to ask, around how much money do you estimate would be spent to purchase all the materials needed to make a dress like this? I know materials can be quite expensive so i'm wondering how a lot of small businesses who make their own dresses manage to make a decent profit.
Great Video. Always my sewing lesson go-to for learning more about making wedding gowns. I had a question about how you made the cups for this dress. What did you use? Was it cups already made that you bought from Joann's or you made them from sketch? If so what kind of fabric/ material did you use? THanks for all your helpful tips!
What dress form do you use and is it adjustable? I make a "body double" for each of the wedding gowns I have made which is really close to the exact size of the bride.
