I knew instantly who you were referring to and the excitement turned into a balloon that lost all its air. I get that my ex-husband continues to think of me, but I have no interest in his hopes or fantasies of what "could have been". He can keep wasting his time fantasizing about me going back to him and blah, blah, blah. . . but that wouldn't happen in real life, even if we were the last two people on Earth.
