I have HP tuners so I can do adjustments and stuff in the computer. Can I reflash my PCM for a V8 or do I need to purchase a V8 PCM?
I just completed a 4.3 v6 to l83 v8 engine swap on a 2015 silverado with a 2016 silverado 5.3. it fires up and runs and everything, but getting a code for the flex fuel sensor. the truck was originally equipped with flex fuel from the factory, the donor engine/harness and ecm were also used from the 2016 5.3 unit. is there a wiring change i need to swap for this?
Hey Mitch. I have a few questions I need your help with. I had to buy a Tehcum for my 6L80 and might need you to help me reset adaptive’s. I’ve been fight this transmission all summer and have spent about $3500 on getting it rebuilt. Total nightmare 🤦🏾♂️

Did you use the original 6L80 transmission or the factory fuel line going to the fuel rail?

You should try and figure out a harness for 10 speed swap transmission

This is my truck and the reason I went with the V8 was due to the V6 going out on me twice. Otherwise I would left the V6 in there.
