The Santa Fe is a midsize 2-row CUV/ SUV. It doesn't compete with the Jeep Cherokee, that's what the Tucson competes with. The Santa Fe competes with the Grand Cherokee in size & price for most versions of each vehicle. The Murano isn't a compact crossover, it's a midsize crossover, & the Ford Edge is also a midsize 2-row crossover/ SUV
design guy needs a better fitting shirt and turbo is nice but wouldnt say its better at least not if you want to own it until the wheels fall off in that case the more reliable non turbo would be better
"Too". Not "to". And I read that you will be getting it by the end of next year. I think it's because they want to tweak the engine to make it better for American consumers.
True, but it doesn't use sensors to detect motion. That's a key differentiator. Eventually, this safety feature will become standard in all family vehicles.
Ansr Max The Sorento is a 3 row. You have to compare this to the 2 row Kia Sportage. That’s the problem when they change the name of a model, it confuses people. This 2 row was called the Santa Fe Sport. The 3 row with optional V6 has a new name.
False. This was an all-new redesign. You may be referring to the 3-Row version which has not been released, but rumors are that it will be named the Santa Fe XL. Basically the same design as this Santa Fe but a longer wheelbase to accommodate the third row.
I liek the Santa Fe. Looks better now...however, Hyundai is just too stubborn to redesign the emblem, which looks the weakest and generic of all the brands! The grille really needs a TOTAL redesign with more thought and talent! The 2 fog light shapes are totally out of proportion and looks tacky. The strongest design element of the Europeans is their understanding of "proportions"...like in all great architecture. Hyundai and Kia needs talented designers with an architectural background...but don't hire George Castanza!

hyundais lead designer is the guy who has been designing all the audis for the last several models. id say hes done a fantastic job compared to what hyundais used to look like. just look at the g70 g80 g90 and new sonata.
... Boring! Please leave the corporate kool-aid drinker out of the review (corporate regurgitation). It's great that it is designed like it is (subjective), but how does it all work? At night (visibility)? Does it drive well? What about engine vs engine? Fwd vs awd? Lower trims vs upper trims. IT vs the competion or possibly larger, but similarly priced vehicles.
The 1st person is the best reviewer that I seem in a while. He really thought it out and his in depth description is outstanding!
I love that Stormy Sea blue & those wheels on this Ultimate trim!
That design guy looks like what I would think Steven Segal’s son would look like 👍
On point my man.
lol
Awesome video. I’m sold. This will be our 4th Hyundai/Kia automobile. We are loyal customers. I just have to save up some $$$😊.
Like a linebacker, pushing forward in the wind 👌

What's up Hyundai I see the map pocket behind the drivers seat in this review, but not in the production models at the dealership.
I see a map pouch on the back of the drivers seat, others SFs that I've seen have none on that seat and reviewers have also mentioned it, what's up ?
I noticed that also, it looks weird not having a map pocket on both sides.
In my 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0T, the map pocket is NOT on the back of the driver's seat, it's on the back of the passenger seat.
That would be correct. @@steelydanfan100
beautiful car
Hi I’d like to know about the towing capacity of the new santa fe 2.4 sel plus ? Thanks
2000 lbs

To bad the US won't get the 2.2D Turbo Diesel.
To bad the EU won't get the 2.0T Gasoline.

the Diesel smashes the petrol slug
Does it have brake hold feature?
Jaipal Sahota yes
nice review
Wish mr. moir didn’t put the headlights on the bumper... now it’s fucken perfect for bugs and rock chips on the highway!!!!
Nice car, but this display..hm..19th century?
I have a complain.....no Led turn signals?? Why??? 👎
A fender flare doesn’t show “power” of the car. A proper, naturally aspirated engine would do that. Not a turbo laggy mess.
Hyundai:”hey! Can i copy ur homework?”
Jeep:”here. But change the answer a little bit”
Hyundai:”done. Ill but my badge on it”
Chevy; hey, let me copy off your test
Hyundai; ok but dont get caught
Sa Na Fe or San Ta Fe
Well Chevy has the rear seat remind

No V6??
At least sister sorento still offers one.

Steve Printy nope Tucson is the Sportage counterpart.
pb m Thank you! I stand corrected. Easy to be confused (for me anyway) with so many similar vehicles. 🚙🚗🚘🚓🚕🚙🚐🚖👀🤔
We do have 3.5L V6 here in Saudi along with 2.4L I4...no 2.0 turbo though
👍👍👍👍👍👍
save your money people 2020 is a whole new redesign.

Ronen....Right! The Santa Fe XL is being replaced by the Hyundai Palisade. It looks pretty nice!

I like the weak emblem. I don't want people to buy this brand so I can get them cheap. I buy the car for quality and reliability. Not for it's emblem.

For the price that your paying you would expect to have remote key engine starter
You get MyHyundai BlueLink for this. It came standard with my 2019 Ultimate.
Is this guy for real? It’s a plastic bucket.
Hyundai copied Jeep, and Chevy copied Hyundai.
I Love it, can you give me one like a Gift :))
