Ain't it the truth! How many times a live version, or seeing a band play live completely changes my opinion of a band. Some bands just don't record very well, or something doesn't translate, but the live performance is just so flippin awesome it wins you over for good. Had it happen many times. (ie, see Reckless Kelly; awesome bar band whose recordings are good, but live they're great).
I've been to a lot of shows in my years.... that moment when the jam kicks in hard (right after RR's hat falls off, and we knew shit was about to hit the fan) was the loudest moment I've ever experienced at any concert ever, everyone at red rocks got their asses kicked
ya they pretty much crushed it on that one. Crazy how after all the years they've been in the game they still go out night after night and put their heart and soul into it.
Yeah,Dave and crew have been in the game along time , but it just keeps getting sweeter. One of the best performers out there with real musicians, Carter Burns is up on the drums too.. Good call , Great stuff..!!
Red Rocks has this magical effect on bands....as do the Colorado Crowd that is cheering them on....everybody needs to put 'see a concert at RRs' on their bucket list!! Great Job Bob & Dave!
True story - first time I saw DMB was in Columbus, OH on tickets I won from a radio station! No clue who they were - what an experience. Musical shit blew my mind! Happy tunes!
I saw them there at Red Rocks 9/12/2005 it was unforgettable!! It was insane!!’ Never ever will I ever forget it. Seen them Before and many times after. Traveled from San Diego at 27 years old and it was priceless for me emotionally!!

I got this song on my default list on my phone and computer. First thing on when I do my power walks at age 63. Awesome on 10 with my Bose headsets.
