Hi there! Not saying that it is a bad thing, I think it is the case for the majority of the people. I just mean, personally, I believe your financial situation is something you rather keep private to people you don't know. By saying something like "I will think about it", you make clear you don't have any interest in buying it now, but you keep whether you can afford it or not to yourself.
These are good tips on how people should treat each other in general. Be respectful and understanding. Do you take home decor inspiration from your work at Hermes? I enjoy how my local boutique is laid out.
