__________________________________________
In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay.
Christina is everyone when they see Russell. It makes me happy that someone, and especially her, had that to say about him, rather than praising.
Russell's attitude in s8 was way worse than he is now. He addressed that in an interview.
@@thewhambamSome HK fans live in so much anachronism it hurts... these seasons were filmed 10, 20 years ago and they never think a personal change is possible.
It’s crazy to see that Christina and Jay crossed paths before becoming the current sous chefs.
Hardly crazy....
*paths
@@snickerdoodles787 thank you!
Indeed.👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳
It meant to be.👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳
Nobody was happy to see Russell, and I completely agree with Christina as she pointed him out. However, good to see both Kevin and Jay.
It's good to know that it's not only the masses who don't have a high opinion of Russhole.
Blu Jay is a Rockstar. Hells kitchen runner up, works with Jon Taffer, then is Ramseys sous chef
Obviously I hated Russell at the time and he was easily the biggest sore loser out of the runners up, but apparently he mentioned on a podcast that he regrets how he acted in that season so... growth?
@Awesometrax It is at least good that he regrets it. Other contestants like S16 Johnny have also expressed remorse for how they acted on their season, but some people like S16 Matt would prove to be just as bad if not worse than they showed themselves to be on their season.
@@Michael-hc2hp Matt Hearn (S16), as well as Jason Underwear (S4) are those that I will always hope for perpetual misfortune upon.
Russel blaming his team that HE chose and couldn't direct as the head chef is the pinnacle of assholery. I hate him and I think Christina was spot on with her assessment
Peak Russell was the challenge where they ran food trucks for blue collar city workers, and while the others made food truck food like burgers or roast chicken, Russell made octopus. He came in last place, but it still wasn't his fault. The city workers were just uncultured morons who couldn't appreciate fine cuisine.
the only reason i dont like this one episode of the Show is that they had the Audacity To Bring Russell back.
Justin did mention that Russel is going home just like he did before.
@@joannetrueman6838He's a great chef and the finale was the price he payed for being an awful human being. Everything's balanced.
It's cool that Christina met her future coworker at Hell's Kitchen in Jason this way!
Christina summed Russell up perfectly 😂
she did big time Russell fumbled HK8 that should've been an easy win for him and he blew it
She did!
He's honestly gotten better in recent years and admits he was being immature
@@itsOasus
Yeah his interview last year is a must watch. He's matured over the years but still serious and dedicated.
@@classicsportclassictiyl8547 He would've had that season in his back pocket had he possessed his current level of maturity.
1:30 "From Hell's Kitchen Season 7, Jay!"
1:32 "Ey, where's Smurf? SMURF!!!!"
What a way to introduce Jay.
Imagine if instead of runner-ups, Gordon Ramsay invited Raj, Louie, Joseph, Colleen, Jason Underwood, and Spaghetti Josh as the returning chefs. That would be the most entertaining service ever.
that would be weird for Tavon since he was first eliminated for this season lol...
Imagine he invited Melinda along with Josh so she could throw all his spaghetti in the trash. And then he invited Jen and she took all the pasta out of the trash and served it.
Spaghetti Josh😂😂😂😂
I think so!

Honestly Paula is such an underrated, brilliant chef
She shouldve won tbh
@@shinobime5554I think there was something about Danny that Gordon Ramsay liked more, and there was nothing Paula could do about it, but she’s incredibly successful nowadays
@@EpicAndrew97Paula was an incredible Chef yes, but Danny had those leader Qualities too, wasn’t scared to make hard decisions in the the kitchen.
She’s probably my favorite HK runner-up from all seasons.
When I first saw her in her season via a clip, I thought she was the sous chef. She presents herself so well and is super talented
And now Jay (Jason) and Christina work in tandem as Ramsay's right hands. Wild
Jay would also later become a kitchen expert on John Taffer's kitchen nightmare like show Bar Rescue,
I know his name is Jason but I still call him Blue Jay no matter what
Christina and Jay are now sous chefs on the current season of Hell's Kitchen.
It always meant to be.👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳
I was pleasantly surprised to see Bonnie again, she really made a good impression in her season.
Nah Bonnie was weak. She made so many silly mistakes
@@AdamMelloul-mz1pu🤡🤡
@@AdamMelloul-mz1puShe was real, that was the good impression maybe... I'll say she was raw. No wonder that she became a TV personality that cooks, not a chef with a TV show.
Christina and Clemenza were so cute when they were getting hyped, my two favorites this season for sure!
Funny to think this is the first time Christina and Jay met and they'd both later become Ramsay's sous chefs
My thoughts exactly like it was meant to be.👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳
Interesting to see Christina and Jay going against each not as sous chefs but on the line
I love when previous contestants make cameos. This season with this service plus earlier when Gordon calls Ralph to boost Royce's morale, 11 when the final 5(?) go against previous winners, 12 when Rock, Dana (from this very season) and Paul come on as judges. 15 and 16 too, but those weren't really mere cameos. It's always fun to see familiar faces.
"The Final six. You're up against some serious talent."
....And Virginia.
Virginia made 0 mistakes that night. Virginia probably got ALOT better in those 8 years.
It's fair enough she drastically improved, but we all know way back then she did not deserve to make it that far.
It's incredible to retroactively prove you deserve to be in that group, though.
@@UltimaKeyMasterWell, again, we only see like 20 minutes of that whole service. Ramsay knew what he wants for his restaurant, he most likely saw something in Virginia that we didn't. Lets remember that hells kitchen also spliced Garret saying that he cooked raw chicken because it was "faster" in the first black jacket service of season 2, when in reality he said that at a later moment. Hells kitchen raw, proves that. There could be alot we are missing that is added for drama.
LOL, I thought exactly the same when she was introduced xD. All those great chefs and also Virginia is there.
I'm surprised they even brought back Russell.
✨ All about the drama ✨
That’s why they kept Robin around
Virginia too
@@AlessandroChiarelli Virginia was actually good this service
@@andreaswong8829 But she was garbage in S2
Chef Christina showing why she’s the goat of Hell’s Kitchen
Has she had the best career outside of Hell's Kitchen? Yes. Was the GOAT inside Hell's kitchen? Not even close. Someone like Meghan ran circles around Cristinas performance on the actual show. Meghan didnt do a single mistake the whole season while Christina was seen struggling a lot especially early. Meghan was dominating a season where 3 other chefs would probably had won most other seasons.
Goat after HK but not the GOAT of HK. Dave all day.
@@P4p4Smurf Exactly!
@@DaeLhMeghan had 1 or 2 mistakes. Dave had 1 mistake with 1 arm on a an arguably worse team.
That title belongs to Dave by a mile
Anybody else sad that Petrozza wasn't there. RIP.
Me. I wanted to meet him. :( (I can't cause he's dead)
Me too, he was the best runner up. Hands down.
He didn’t die until later. This season aired in 2012
@@zeldamachina6305 I know. I. Just saying I'm still upset about it.
My thoughts exactly
Jay should won season 7. He has had a great career.
Agreed, even taffer has picked him
I think it shows that getting eliminated from HK doesn't mean your career is over :)
Dudes a Rockstar. Ramsey and Taffer then came back to Ramsey as his sous chef
@@jonathanphillips6372 I would agree with that - Jon from S11 finished 3rd but then ended up working under Christina of all people.
@@P4p4Smurf imagine if taffer works with gordon..ramsey is going to be the good guy
Lol Christina saying what we were all thinking
1:45 To this day I think Dana’s reason for hating Jay has to be the stupidest reason I’ve ever heard. Why do you not like blue hair, do you think it looks uncool? Because I’ll tell you something, it doesn’t!!!
…also really pleased to see Paula make a return as she’s my favourite HK runner up 😊😊
The same person who hated Barbie since the beginning. It's so weird
Imagine if Jay was the Sous Chef for Blue Team on All Star Season instead of Jockey. That would be awkward for Dana.
Dana is the female Benjamin in S10.
I love when they bring back returning chefs because it really shows what HK and Gordon Ramsay's standards do to these chefs. We really don't see it in the course of the show because the change is gradual and the show is mostly focused on when a chef messes up, but my goodness is it a massive improvement.
It's true outside of HK, too. Those that have had a boss like Gordon Ramsay know that bosses like that take you to a whole other level and in many industries, these bosses are _known_ and working for one, even for a short time, is considered a massive boost to your resume.
I need a season comprised purely of early boots as well as some all-time notorious contestants (for skill or personality issues). Imagine Mr. "They know who they are" Joseph alongside Raj, Matt and Colleen. I love trainwrecks.
Raj would die lol
I love how the runner-ups react when getting a compliment from Chef Ramsay. No matter how good or cocky you are; that compliment must feel so good 😅🙏
Christina went for Russell's jugular in that confessional, and I'm just gonna let her 👀
Hilarious when Dana criticizes another’s appearance when she looks like the main character from “The Dark Crystal.”
I can see the resemblance 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, she's Jewish, so... accidentally racist 😂
Imagine if Jay was the Sous Chef of Season 17 instead of Jockey
@@margarethmichelina5146then Benjamin and Jay are in the same kitchen again.
The runner-ups can speak for themselves they know who they are.
😂🤣👍
All runner ups getting their good moments and then there's Bonnie's gas incident
They knew they couldn’t bring back Will or else the black jackets would have gotten destroyed lol
I definitely was not happy to see Russell at first. I agreed with Christina but surprisingly he actually wasn’t too bad during the service. He definitely turned it down a lot, and was much more gentle.
"I have 2 goals in Hell's Kitchen and 1 is to win and my second is to sleep with Holly"🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's a shame we couldn't get Petrozza 😢
1:32 Once a Smurf, always a Smurf.
Seeing Virginia again made me happy . . ..
i love jay (: also wow that comeback from justin was sharp
I agree with Christina what she said about Russell
I'd love to see a served raw version of this service
Me too.💜👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳📹📺
That would be a blessing
@@leonskennedy1545 my thoughts exactly.💭👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳
Colleen & Paula were phenomenal during their seasons. Loved seeing them return.
You mean that, Colleen who is so-called Culinary Instructor who makes a lot of mistakes for 5 episodes straight and somehow makes Lacey look better than her?
The runners up have Kevin, Jay, and Paula who were amazing on the show and have all done amazing outside of the show.
IRONICALLY KEVIN CAME BACK FOR SEASON 18 AND JAY IS NOW A SOUS CHEF!
Alright you don't have to yell
2:55 The look on the faces of Christina and Dana as Bonnie was walking in was adorable. Where can I find someone to look at me like that?
Jay one of the few people to be on both Hell’s Kitchen & Bar Rescue.
I already knew Dana was toxic, but the fact that she doesn't like Jay just for the sole purpose that he has blue hair, that's almost Karen attitude. I never thought I'd hear someone dislike someone because of their hair color
I agree. It's about the inside, not the outside, Karen 🎉🎉🎉🎉
And Jay would come back as the Blue Team Sous Chef
Why is Dana always yelling?
Acting for drama
She isn't. She just talks as though she's yelling, much like American on-site news reporters, lol. I agree it's annoying, though.
Dana: Why does Jay have blue hair!?
Me: Why tf are you always yelling in every confessional clip??
^^
Man Kevin deserved that title so much. For sure he would have won if it wasn't for Dave. He's the second best chef of all time in my opinion
T,Will,Paula,Jay probably the strongest runners-up ever in HK
@@hoaang9455 those 4 and justin, justin came close to christina and had his fair share of feats!
0:05 Clemenza saying Black Jacket to the Hot Pocket theme
Kevin... Dave was the winner, AKA one-arm bandit.
“And my second, is to sleep with Holly”
Honestly dude same
But did he succeed? I thought she was married at the time and he should have known that.
@@bobojo37 They didn't do anything but flirting and joking, Holly said by herself they were just friends.

Dude Dana trying to read Jay reminds me of me trying to read people... you're trying too hard mate.
I wish Gordon would do this in latwr seasons. Having this season black Jackets versus previous Runner-ups
My heart sank when they brought back Bonnie🥹
Clamenza and the the remaining Robyn no words to say there.
1:57 the effect they added cracked me up
hahaha jay is still on here and on bar rescue.
Why is Dana ALWAYS YELLING?!?
kevin is the most scariest out of them all for me and hes also my personal favorite cause he beated everyone in his team while being cirppled
S6 was next level - Dave the one-armed bandit, Kevin one of the best runners-up in HK history, Ariel who won S18, and Tennille with the greatest comeback
The fact that anyone dislikes Jay is crazy to me! I absolutely love him, he is such a powerhouse chef and he is now the male sous chef for HK.
Gordon needs to do this again in the new season
"As some of the most talented chefs in Hell's Kitchen history are back"
*Shows Virginia*
Yeah, well Virginia had 0 mistakes that night and kept up the pace on her station. Of course almost everybody did well, but if she's this "bad" chef then shouldn't she have made several mistakes or not kept up? She was flawless in that service on a station she struggled with the last time she was at hells kitchen. She definetly got way better in those 8 years.
@@milanek1527 - Just copy/pasting that everywhere, lol.
This is actually the official worst burn in Hell's Kitchen History 01:45 🔥🍴
Wonder what Dana's opinion on Jay is like now since he would later become chef Ramsay's sous chef?
Kevin at this point and still might be the best chef not to win people literally scared of the guy
Will is pretty high on that list too. He had a flawless run and was guaranteed the win, until his abysmal finale
And then when you compared this Kevin who still has the same energy as he was on Season 6 to Kevin in Season 18, I swear it's like watching 2 different people
Even Trev mentioned how terrifyingly skilled Kevin is at the start of S18, which makes Kevin’s downfall even more shocking

Dana talking smack about Jays hair, meanwhile she keeps screaming like everyone is hard of hearing every time shes in the confessional 😂

Don't understand why everyone is going in on russell in the comment section. The fact that he showed up again shows that he's accepted the loss. If he had refused to return out of spite then that would have been something to hate on him for.
Jay went on to not only be one of Ramsay's sous chefs, but ALSO working with Jon Taffy atfferd Taffer on Bar Rescue, so I think between all of that they got the edge.
(He says 10 years after this episode actually aired)
How hilarious would it have been to hear:
"You know who I am, you can speak for yourselves"!
They really did Kevin justice here with the editing 😂 1:56
Shame Petrozza didn’t return for runner up challenge 😢 RIP
Nice to see Jay didn't need to win HK to be successful. Still hope to see Gordon Ramsay/Jon Taffer comp eventually
FIRST TIME CHRISTINA AND JAY CROSSED PATHS!
Imagine runner-up vs HK winners. That would go crazy
Paula is my favorite of all the hells kitchens
I want the next video to be a continuation to this. I'm very intrigued
the most replayed in this video is crazy 💀 1:34
The moment I saw Russel I was like 'you again?'.
Awesome to see Bonnie again a personal favourite
They should make a series of Hells Kitchen called
Hells Kitchen: Return of the Donkeys
I.E Vinny Matt Raj Tom Jeff Andrew (from season 1&7)
They could have brought Will Lustberg from Season 9 but Season 10 was filmed back to back with Season 9.
7:40 Spaghetti cooked before on order, bruh these Raj moves are poppin'
Bonnie looking fine as ever😍
I wanna see a Hell’s Kitchen: Redemption season, of all chefs who narrowly missed the Black Jacket portion of the competition
It’s too bad Will didn’t come back for this service.
My guess is probably because this season was being filmed while S9 was still airing.
Season 9 and 10 were both shot back to back.
Give us Will over Russell anytime
S9 and 10 were filmed in the same year, and S9 was still airing while they're filming S10, that's why Will wasn't there, to avoid spoiler.
@@alexfisher5475it was too recent. S11 brought back paul though

It's better to reply everything Ramsey hurls at you by saying 'YES CHEF!'
Chef Ramsey: 'do you really wanna go home?'

Holli is hotter tbh.
dipmalyagantait4716 Completely agree, Dana doesn’t look nor sound like she has much going on upstairs
1:36 sounds so obviously cut I wonder if he said anything remotely close or if they just tried to set him up
I wonder why Petroza wasn’t there. He was my favorite from season 4 besides Louross
Christina is the best chef arguably with Meghan Hells Kitchen ever produced. She wasnt competing with the black jackets, they were competing with her.
I wish they still did this, a bit of spoilers but imagine if Justin did this again but he was on the opposite team.
