So brave of you both for talking about this, especially since you grew up in a Christian home. It is good and inspiring to hear that your parents aren’t dismissive of mental health. There’s a misconception that faith makes you immune to emotional or psychological difficulties, as if belief alone protects you from life’s hardships. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you won’t face struggles-it means you navigate them with faith, seeking strength and guidance from God. He can work through doctors and medical professionals to provide healing. It doesn’t reflect a lack of faith but shows wisdom in taking care of the body and mind that God has entrusted to you 🤗
