I hadn't seen your 2nd video as I chose 2 of the 8 mandalas I created for my Mum's nursing home and coloured each of them in 3 different ways. That's what you call synchronicity!! Love your web site, your videos. Everything appears to be simple and easy with you.
woww... datz a gd one again... the best part in ur vdeos is the calmness during the mandala making n soft music playing in the back ground... birds view of the upcoming episodes has nailed it! i can actually get ready wth the art supplies of color pencils to work along wth the vdeo! gret goin....
+SHAZ Thanks again for the feedback. My son gave me the idea about inserting a little "teaser" about the next video. I agree, I think it was a good idea that he shared. I'm happy that I figured it out.
Got a question for you - In the beginning where you say it is a 6 x 6 journal, but the drawable area is only 5 1/2 x 6 because of the coil side. Wouldn't it be better to measure half of the 5 1/2 instead of 6 to make it even?
easy way to divide the circle.... just use the compass with the radius of the circle. start at 12o'clock and transfer the distance all way around. will be more exact then eyeballing a protractor.
+Jesse West - Yes that is a great way to divide up a circle. I find using a protractor to be a very accurate method and helpful when I'm looking to divide a circle into different # segments like 5, 7, or 9. Thanks for sharing your technique.
Hi Kathryn - I'm 'new' to RUclips, and all of the wonderful artists. At the suggestion of Edward Black Rose, who does beautiful ink geometric drawings, I've tried to open my own RUclips channel using the inspiration of Edward, you and a few others. Have a quick glance at my drawings-as-quilts. Jerry
