All due respect, Richie, you are totally wrong. What's Going On was a very important record simply because it came from Motown which was doing a lot of assimilation type music. You have to think about the times. And how Marvin Gaye was tired of doing bubble gum. He had a hard time getting this record out. Berry Gordy did not like it because it was depressing. There was a war going on, ther was still a lot of racism (like now), drug abuse & extreme poverty were profound in the inner cities and even then people were worried about the environment. The lineup of musicians on his album is amazing. It is a crowning achievement for Marvin Gaye, similar to Stevie Wonder also deciding he no longer wanted to do Bubblegum. Rolling Stone had it right. It's not a joke. And I must say I'm surprised at your comment about it being a black lives matter move. That's kind of insulting. And I really like your videos normally!

I wasn’t aware of the Bad Brains Punk Note albums. More likely I just forgot. I have a couple of other Poison Idea reasons that I’ll talk about in my next video. Michael Pilmer is an interesting dude. He works for Devo and the Dickies.
How does that Poison Idea sound?
It is pretty good. It is sourced from the original cassette of the soundboard recording.
Marvin Gaye is wonderful but i will take Aretha for soul every time
I love late 60’s Aretha. I prefer Marvin in the 70’s.
Hahaha...Don't purge the Merrill album....but DON'T LISTEN TO IT! Prolly don't listen to the ASS BOYS, either! Haha...Thanks A TON for sharing this on yer channel, pal. See you around the degenerates streams!
Whats the sound quality of acid eaters?I seen other ramones lps from russia.
It is okay. It may be pressed from a CD. I didn’t know it was a Russian press when I bought it.
Gotta love a V-R vid - - any V-R vid, sound as a pound. But now if 'Let's go Brandon' means [what youtube won;t let us say it means], what does 'Go Dodgers' mean these days?
That is the question.
I really thought that was a tone poet hahahahhaahhahs
They did a really good job on the packaging.
James! Yep..... "I'm not gonna dig myself a hole" LOL... You shouldn't have mentioned it then Pat. LOL ... Stereotyping people stereotypes yourself I'd of mentioned... The problem is there are only 2 theories on how to argue with a woman. Only two. Neither one of them work.
I shouldn’t mention a lot of things but I can’t help myself.
Pig Note!! Hahahahahaha
🤣🤣Grail🤭🏆
The Celtic Frost is indeed a grail.
Did you get Dischord 200? Do you not give a shit about it? Inquiring minds want to know.
I didn’t get Dischord 200. I have two of the original 7”s. I have Four Old 7”s On. 12”. I have the first six 7”s on a CD. I have the first two Minor Threat on album. I didn’t feel it was something I needed.
BLM list lmao 🤣
Why does it top the list now and never before.
@@vinylrichie007 I agree with you 💯
