I think Puran was from India , ( older Maha Bharat) , added stories of Maryam son and brother’s stories by Isa and musa ( crown prince and uncle) about 2000 years ago, and later a unknown Rasool was added only in Arabic Quran with the help of Hadeses. Because in Arabic text , there is no Rasool of Makkah or Yatrib written in it. Do you know, Musa of 3000 years ago is also missing from Arabic Quran?
