@@HJ80307 Yeah its absolutely insane that some idiots are saying he should be sacked. He has turned Arsenal from a top 10 team to a top 2 team. They have only lost 2 games in all 4 competitions in 29 games in total both 1-0 defeats away to inter and Newcastle. Arsenal are now a very very hard team to beat. And have one of the top 3 best defences in Europe more clean sheets than anyone in the top 5 leagues in Europe in the 2024 calender year. They just need to get the right signing who will fit in well and they need 1 quality midfielders and one saka level player in attack. Liverpool were 5 points ahead at new year last season before they bottled it and ended up over 10 points behind city and Arsenal. In fact Arsenal won 17 out of thier last 20 premier league games last season but so did Man city that 2-0 home defeat to villa cost Arsenal the title. But winning 17 out of your last 20 league games is insane form. I remember in 1998 United had about a 10 point lead over Arsenal and bottled it, then Arsenal done the same a few years later. And liverpool lost a big lead in a title race against city and then not past season the one before Arsenal bottled the league with an eight point lead and a game in hand. So that's at least 4 seasons I remember teams losing massive leads by the new year. Personally I think liverpool will hold out as long as Salah stays fit.
I'll give him credit when he wins a major trophy for Arsenal

Arteta is a quality manager, not given the respect he deserves. First managerial job, turned the worst ever Arsenal team around in the PL era. Look at the consistency this year, even though he’s not won trophies, he has done excellently.

Had to deal with some adversity this season. Injuries,suspensions etc but we’re just about hanging in there. Squad needs a few additions to get a trophy this season.
We do still need a Striker. Jesus has hit form at a great time, but that doesn't change the fact that just a few weeks ago we were struggling really badly for a clinical finisher.

I was saying this when Odegaard was out injured he could of helped us in a vital time we dropped points. Nwaneri hopefully with Odegaard x a CDM is a new look midfield with more attacking play.
