Arteta's answer for the captain injured is right under his nose. Keep playing the kid!
Sure, looking forward to seeing him against Leicester
Nwaneri showed a bit of class, but let's not get ahead of ourselves... most of his passes were backward of sideways to an open player. The kid has potential, but there is still much to learn and the supporters will turn on him if he does not perform. I wouldn't expose him too much against real quality opposition, he's not quite Fabregas quality yet (when Fabregas was 16 years old), not by a long shot.
He is still very young and easily can Burnt-out..
@@zziicckk01I hope you watched him today vs Leicester and the impact he had after coming on, he's top class and looks unfazed by the big stage.
@@SuperBlackhawk29 - he's a talented kid, no doubt... but let's stop the Cesc Fabregas comparisons, Nwaneri is not the finished product yet.
Can't help but it seems that he plays his game similarly to our captain too - the way he moves and passes the ball
Yes he has some qualities similar to Odegaard Arteta has to give hime time in premier league
And he will help Saka to play
Defo some similarities. Odegaard been acting as a mentor to him last season too, he's learning from the best.
Totally agree, how he moves is very similar
The two things that impressed me the most, even more than the composure in front of goal and the vision for a pass, was his press resistance and the way he rode challenges. I'm old enough to still feel furious at the way Jack Wilshere did not fulfill his promise because he wasn't taught properly how to ride challenges, so he held on to the ball longer than he should have and repeatedly got fouled. I don't see those shortcomings in this young man.
Mark my words. In three years, if his development continues at current pace, Nwaneri will be contending for the #10 role for England over players like Foden or Bellingham. The best #10s are adaptable controllers and relational in nature. Foden is a game winner (you need those in your team) and so is Bellingham (prodigiously so), and as such, they are at their best at the end of a play. Nwanery creates relationships, and even if he has an eye for a finish (man, does he), he is better at weaving plays and bringing players into them. Making them look better. Last night you saw senior players giving him the ball when he wasn't even showing for it, and he knew how they played and where they wanted the ball. His relation with Saka showed that.
Anyway, I better stop with this irrational exuberance over a child who hasn't played a serious minute of top flight football.
His little turn reminds me of our Captain
Odegaard 2.0 loading, this boy shall go a long way.
His decision really mature even at his age now
I see xhaka or odegard in his style...wow what a player Arsenal have❤
Xhaka?😂
😂
@adventurerwannabe maybe he meant saka...and not Xhaka..😊😅
Lmaooo 😂
He moves more like jack wilshire or foden than odegaard. The way they run with the ball past people low to the ground and you can never get it off them..
I'll start him against Leicester without a doubt. Give him 60-70 mins. Let's see what he can do against the physicality of a prem opponent..
This kid looks like ready for first team football
Definitely is ngl, he can start in odeegard role until he comes back
Even the way he passes
Yup, there's a reason why Mikel didn't get him out on loan. Mikel plans to use him this season
@@muhammadrezaaulia8953and let esr and viera go.
I'm still not sure, can't really tell after a perfomance against a League One side.
I see alot of odegaard in his football but he could be bullish and more bould and use his physic as a black male athlete the boy is good the next starboy
Hes like a hybrid of odegaard and esr
@@neducationalmusic4738 100%
As a black male athlete lmao 🤦♂️
People still believe in this race trait BS. So uneducated
He seems so sharp and comfortable in tight areas. Tidy touch and passing as well.
I think he's definitely good enough to provide that creative spark we lost when Odegaard got injured. Even if you don't want to start him, at least give him the second half if we're already winning in the first.
Should start against Leicester next. I wonder if he will be more of a goal scoring and dribbling maestro in midfield compared to Odegaard.
All that depends on the level of his confidence
@@raidenextdoorfrom what ive seen already from hes league cameos, hes got 99 problems confidence aint one
@neducationalmusic4738 most definitely. Him starting in the first team 11 is confidence 101
Want to see him start at the weekend why not?
Yeah, perfect game for him to get a prem start. We need a bit of creativity in midfield against Leicester.
Odegard with speed
And more clinical in front of goal.
You can tell he is studying and learning from Odegaard on the training ground.
Same moves same mimicking!
Absolutely delicious and gorgeous football from Ethan!
You already have all of us in awe having such a talent representing and playing for my club.
We are right behind you!
Keep growing with the team!
Martin Ø x ESR hybrid
🎯 🎯 🎯
Bang on.
Spot on tbh
He is ODEGARD junior his turns were similar to those of our captain, speed and everything I thought our captain is back 😊
Better arteta does something
Ball control, low centre of gravity, awareness, decent pace, decent passing, creates good separation. Outstanding for a 17 year old
We are used to seeing Saka-White-Odegaard triangle but in this game we saw the Hale End academy triangle(Saka-Nwaneri-Nichols) build up to Rice's goal🎉🎉🎉❤❤... Am so impressed 🎉🎉❤
I like how he just plays that simple pass to the other 8 any time its on, doesn't overcomplicate things.
Sign of top player ,very rarely gives the ball away
Defo the best option to replace Ødegaard till he’s back
This Guy Is A Baller.
He plays like a Spaniard. The technical ability was on full display and he looks so comfortable on the ball. He’s never pressed or looks rushed.
The technical skills and guile is from his Nigerian heritage just like Eze at Palace
Imagine Nwaneri and Odegaard playing together.
Both has an eye to pass.
1:19 - 1:26
Great from saka
Nigeria better go try convincing Nathan Nwaneri to play for the senior National Team NOW, before England uses him in qualifiers and then dumped for main competition, ultimately ruining his national careerer.
better he plays for England so he won't be away during ACON.
@@jjtop20 He would play for England during the qualifiers and Friendlies, but get dumped for Euros and World Cups tournaments.
No problem better @@LoonieGoon3r
Like Eddie Nketiah
@@LoonieGoon3r he is still very young. Depends on how he progress. anyway he has to decide by himself who he wants to play for. but I always feel is only right to represent the country u were born in or u grow up in
The future is now, he scores next game give him #10
No
He will be the number 10 next season
Listen guys! Ethan Nwaneri is the perfect backup for Odegaard. I think he might even raise the bar much higher
after Mancity we gonna have a series of games against mid table team, Nwareri should be given some game time till Odegaard returns
Nice game to get him and saka some chemistry
Still very young and I want him to become confident to play that killer pass
Kiwior put very classy performance in this geam. Something tells me he should be here.
I say start him against Leicester. With Partey and Rice next to him he'll have the support. Bring in Trossard if needed. And then start Trossard against PSG. We need to keep rotating so we don't burn out our players.
Perfect back up for Øde ! If he gets minutes and impresses, I would love to see him get the no.10 shirt next year!
He’s the perfect hybrid. Ode and jack in one! Should definitely start this wkend
The way he protects the ball is very similar to Odegaard. Can tell he picks up what Ø does in training.
This kid is unbelievable with an amazing and smart left foot🔥🔥🔥
This kid is good the only think missing is those passed between the lines, he is a bit too cautious.
I think one good thing about his game is that he feeds both wings but Odegard feeds only the right wing i.e Saka 90% of the time
Nwaneri has that charisma of a starboy, very similar to Saka in 2020.
1.00 he deffo learnt that from Odegaard 😊 top baller this kid
nwaneri doing odegaard things...please give him minutes.
Very similar to Odegaard but less biased towards the right hand side.
He did ok. But Myles skelly is my favourite
Scored 2 goals ...did ok😂😂
@@TheKh65 good positioning and props to the tactics, he didnt stand out that much honestly, not for all that hype. Good player and very promising, good game but not first team material yet
@@euri39 huh!!!! he is first team material. Myles and Nweneri....are ready
@euri39 that makes no sense. Check his pass completion, his ball progressions, his passes in the final third, and the fact that he scored 2 goals then tell me again he was "ok". I don't want to overhype like he is cesc 2.0, but to say he did "ok" is downright egregious 🤣 we don't have anybody else who can do an "Odegaard" role in the current squad, so I am not opposed to playing him at home against leicester
@@euri39go and continue watching wrestling, football is not for u
Pls arteta give ds guy more chance.. Its juz odegaard second in style, play, flair n everything
Hez got the fabregas elegance and control.
This is Arsenal's Musiala
The kid is really good, has a eye for goal, good dribbler and a good passer of the ball as well . Great future ahead.
Nwaneri Senior buddy odegaar..
I love this kid as much as he next guy, but as fans we need to simmer down.. he's 17 and this was Bolton's 2nd team... He's simmering now and he will cook soon but leave the kid to develop without arsenal fans calling him the next Odegaard...
😂 he and skelly learned the dark arts well
The boy reminds me of our captain Odegaard. He should be given more playing time.
Remember our big Merino is back in one week time.
Ethan is a superstar man, great performance. Imagine what he’d do with our full first team players around him 🤩 I’d start him against Leicester
Can we put some respect on jesus for choosing to not tap strelings cross for either allowong ethan to score or because he knew it would mess the keeper up
Proper player
Arteta will have a lot of explanations to do if Nwaneri is not no one on the starting line up against Leicester this weekend.
Only 17
ABSOLUTE BALLER!!! Defo gonna get more minutes in the first team with us!!
Starting role against Leicester city will play a huge role in his development. With the support of Partey and Rice in midfield, he's good to go. Let's unlock this potential finally
It's only Bolton....need more game time against top 8 teams...stop hyping the player....he is good 👍
I think if he’s back again into first team start as early the next game, he’ll be even much better. That role wasn’t for Trossad and Arteta should have brought Nwaneri on once Odegaard became unavailable.
The biggest stamp of approval Nwaneri gets is something that's easy to overlook - it's apparent how much his teammates trust him, and don't treat him like a starstruck youngster going through the motions
Think the key words in the title are "against Bolton"
They are currently 19th in league one
He wasnt that great, did demand the ball enough on the other hand Lewis had a great game I think looked at home in the first team, will turn into a solid squad olayer for us this season.
poor linkup with bukayo saka almost same playing method with our captain ode we are seeing the a kid that can replace ode on long term.
Nwaneri one of our own!So glad we maNAGED TO KEEP HIM .
1:00 still learning though
Odegaard would have done a back heel pass😃
Bro passes like he is a pro player with like 4 years experience in top flight football
Selfless play towards the end too, on a hattrick & still passes the ball in the box
Dude is too intelligent but the little trust Arteta has in upcoming is just too much.
Brilliant youngster. Wat a game for him. He is our future
Nwaneri is understudy to Captain Odegaard.
Arsenal fan here.
But i see alot of back pass and side pass
Calm down. Don't over hype him
dribbling the ball better than odegard,, he can drive in
He should be starting when Ø is not around.
He is much of his coach;Jack Wilshere!@okey
ONE OF OUR OWN
I like the way he links with Saka, very interesting
if not start the entire second half should be his
In my opinion Lewis Kelly is the only one ready
He reminds me of Jack Wilshere😮
2:38 that composure to turn out of pressure 🔥🔥
To me, he's an ESR and Ø hybrid
I can see him play againts leicester
Keep the spirit otherwise the boy is better
This guy suppose to go to dortmund either on loan or permanently to have more first team start
More like odeegrad style of play ❤
I think he should be given a chance on OD position he has the same style as OD our captain
He is sending a message to Arteta
Real backup for odegard
Odegaard's son ❤
Next Kobbie Mainoo England midfielders for next 10-15 years is solved.
Hé play like Odegard
Like jack willshire
Maybe arteta will buy him next season
He his who he think he his ❤
This kid is the future! He is just too good 👍
Let him play next game
A bit too one footed I think
He better than odegaard.
