The real Strikers 1945 is the Japanese version. Back then in the before times, when a game came over from the land of the rising sun, if it wasn't in sequence with the original series, it will have the number of the game be the release number of when it came out in the USA. That is why we have Final Fantasy 3 actually be Final Fantasy 6, confusing everything in the process once they eventually do get released in the US. This game is awesome, the only thing I found bad about it is, there is no Flying Pancake. Enjoy!
I wonder if you happen to know the game I'm looking for. The game is very similar to this type of vertical shoot-them-up game, of a similar year, and made by a familiar company I often see when playing these 19XX games tho I don't remember the exact name of the company. It has a Japanese atmosphere and player controls characters like flying ninjas, not planes, the enemies were mostly similar ilks too but there were also robot like enemies, too. I remember some of the bosses like a giant snake or very human like enemy lying on the ground, etc
Well, a major shmup company was Psikyo that did many of these games, including this one. Are you talking about Sengoku Ace or Sengoku Blade? Others are Sol Divide and Dragon Blaze, among others. Eventually I will get to them. So if they are not the ones I mentioned, then it will eventually appear on the channel. There is also the Aleste games, but I think those are ninjas in armored mechs.
One final note, you can search on my channel with the word shmup and see if it is any of those games I already covered. Not all will appear, but the most recent ones will at least.
