- Fox News & ESPN regular Stephen A. Smith said he’s struggling with the idea of supporting Will Smith in Bad Boys: Ride Or Die after he slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars. Apparently we, Black America, deserve an explanation. Yet, we still haven't received one for Stephen A's far more problematic conduct over the years. It was in March 2022 that Will Smith delivered the slap heard around the world to Chris Rock during the 94th Academy Awards. But many years before that Stephen A Smith went along with the mischaracterization of Colin Kaepernick, absolving Jerry Jones and all along the way buddying up to the likes of Sheriff David Clarke and Fox News Sean Hannity. Make it make sense. Also Will Smith is apparently bigger than ever and all signs point to him adding another summer blockbuster to his resume.

Will Smith owes his community a lot. That's who propped him up and supported him when he wasn't mainstream and after he got cancelled by palm coloured people, and he owes his community good behavior, positivity, giving back and continuing to make those who invested in him, proud. And he's done all that and so much more. He made a mistake during a hard time, apologized and has continued to act in a way that makes him a credit to his community and people.
