I did not use mine for decades now but I know one thing for sure your motor home, it will last for much much more than 2 seasons. my advice for you is 1 buy one solar panel for the roof and some necessary spare parts IF you are going to venture out in Eastern Europe etc. IF you are stranded in the middle of nowhere and you are out of gas or batteries and is it's cold AF you won't die of hyperthermia (remember some kind of backup plan A, B, C.. Z, etc) is always better. Also, it's way cheaper than you think, and you 2 can easily install it ;) CONGRATULATIONS TD :)

Just one suggestion: Pulling car behind RV doesn't sound feasible just for grocery purposes. Also, it will not look good on camera or drone shots. Instead when you park your RV in the camp. You should start booking campsite for RV. I live in Toronto and I usually book campsites at least 2-3 months in advance. They fill very quickly, just like our Tatkal tickets in India. Let me know if you need help in researching about good RV campsites and national/provincial parks in Ontario and Quebec.

Driving with a dolly is very very tricky especially handling it loaded (overtaking, planning alignment, reversing etc). Different experience from boat dollys. Suggest u rent the dolly from U-haul as a quick solution.Would help when buying a dolly (new or used) later. Wish you & Mataji a very Enjoyable & Safe trip. God Bless
