    6:44 .... 8:24 my god that voice!.....no other singer in metal/rock, whatever comes close..it's so original and deep and powerful..i can go on for days..i just hate how after ugly he never sang like this again, not even live

      Buddy I agree 100% with you, you spoke my words. Caputo was immense from 92-96 after that something happened and he sadly kinda become half the man he used to be voice-wise. But in that short period of time IMO he was the best and most unique singer in Rock History along with Laney Staley and Weiland in the Core album.

      Completely agree... the guy out-Danzigged Danzig.
      Soul Searching Sun wasn't a bad album, but every single time I listen to it, I keep missing those haunting, bellowing, baritone vocals that made River Runs Red one of my favorite metal albums of all time. Even on a lot of Ugly he didn't use the same vocal style.

    This was few weeks after their legendary gig on Dynamo Festival, where we had the biggest pogo party ever with around 70.000 people all jumping at once. I mean all of them! An ocean of jumping kids....but theres no footage of it anywhere. Will never forget these days. Keith even moves and bends as he did on Dynamo. With Sick of it all the best gigs ever. Swear!

    Its so plain to see now why all the suicidal & angry lyrics. Keith was living a lie, talk about a Life of Agony. Although still strange to see him as a woman I'm glad he/she is happy & being the person who they always wanted to be.

      +Rusty Kuntz could not have said it better bro. being depressed, confused, etc..good for him/her tho..some ppl never find that inner peace/happiness

    • @uucay9565
      @uucay9565 8 лет назад +6

      +Rusty Kuntz- It is certainly believable, but Caputo wasnt the primary lyricist. Interviews document a string player (Alan Robert?) wrote most. Live and let live, you are right. I am just glad they shared their lives with us.

    • @rustykuntz94
      @rustykuntz94 8 лет назад +5

      +UU Cay Alan is LOA's bass player & I believe either a cousin of Keith's or a close friend from childhood. I remember reading back 20 yrs ago about them that Alan wrote from Keith's perspective a lot cause Caputo was not good conveying his feelings into song but Alan helped him. That's a true friend right there.

      +Rusty Kuntz cool to learn...it has been eye-opening, this bands evolution. plus, they f'ing rock!

    • @rustykuntz94
      @rustykuntz94 8 лет назад +2

      +UU Cay no doubt. I saw them back in te early days 93/94. Keith was toally different when I first saw them w Type O Negative in 93. He was jumping all over the place, really into it, screaming. By the next yr he was morose on stage, no movement & worse he changed vocally, not screaming anymore. You can see it already here, he's very stationery. At least he can still deliver the vocals great which a few yrs later they would barely play any River runs Red songs anymore.
