Phillipines in 4K (Kayangan Lake, Coron) Drone shots

Kayangan Lake is one of the most popular spots on Coron Island and for good reason. You cruise literally into the ‘boat parking lot’, which in itself is an immaculate reef with crystal clear water. After parking the boat you take a short hike up the stairs to the viewpoint before clambering down the other side to reach the famous Kayangan Lake. It is a crystal clear, freshwater lake with unbelievable underwater rock formations, which make it one of the most incredible sites in Coron, Palawan.
Above the surface, this is the ‘postcard view’ of the region and arguably home to the most popular viewpoint in Coron. Underneath the surface, it truly feels like a dream world and the snorkeling is incredible.
The best and cheapest way to visit Kayangan lake is to join the shared "Coron ultimate island hopping tour". However, with multiple tours starting each day, it may become pretty crowded during the day.
We were fortunate enough to visit Kayangan lake early morning by booking a private tour, and even though it was a little heavy on pockets, we were able to enjoy this mysterious lake, and had the area almost all to ourselves!
