Lovely bike!!! I raced one that year and so loved that bike!!! Raced all over the north west on Kawasaki’s out of my dad’s Warrenton, Oregon shop, Mr. Bike👍👍😍
@@twobeer3316 McMinnville, PIR, washougal, Westwood, Yakima, lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton, we traveled all over the place…. Did the entire Yamaha hold cup in 1985. All the winter indoor stuff(equestrian centers)… The fastest guy who raved out of our shop, Brett Stevens, had some epic battles with Ricky Simmet when he was a 125 intermediate rider!!! Good times in Oregon from 1985 to 1988. I also competed in observed trials from BC to Nor-Cal from 86-88. Puget sound trials 👍 The Canadian stuff was from 1980-1981,, moved to Japan in early 81 and raced there through 1984. Parents retired in Oregon and opened the Kawasaki shop in 85. I also a little bit in Alabama off and on, got into road racing and got my WERA license….sold my last road race bike in….2010 I think? Haven’t ridden a bike since… miss it!!!
@@robertrishel3685 Awesome! I quit racing in 81, I did buy an 84 KX125 to ride the track for fun. Our fastest was Roy Davis who has to travel to Washougal for any competition, then later on Ryan Huffman. Good times...
@@bpr154 Yes 87 shock . Sold it straight away and got 2016 yz 125 a proper bike . Only did this project as i had a new one back in 1986 but smashed my leg on it 🙄🙄
