Disconnecting the hoses from the the oil pump to instead have the oil mixed with fuel in the fuel tank will result in your crankshaft bearings not getting oiled properly, then there will be an increase in engine temperatures and premature wear. You can verify this by looking at the oil pump to see a hose going directly from the oil pump into the crankcase. Suzuki did not add an unnecessary hose to the oil pump that does not have a specific purpose. The crankshaft will not be getting oiled when the oil is mixed into the fuel in the fuel tank as that oil mixture will only be lubricating the piston rigs in the upper part of the cylinder.
Hey I just picked up a 82 with almost 5000 miles on it and it's a little worse then yours I need to relace the front and rear wheel because they both have a bad wobble to them, I'm able to do a smooth 30 on it but I'm wondering how the 60cc kit opens it up I'd like to see how much it helps with top end and if not much top end the low end benefits, also wondering where you found all the stock parts
Took a year of searching on ebay to find all the stock parts. I will be getting back on this project in about a month and will give a detailed overview of everything then.

I am really glad that you pointed this out. Gonna look into this a bit deeper on the second half of this rebuild.
Any updates on this project? Would be cool to see it completed

No Suzuki Fa50's, heartbreaking
