Use spray adhesive besides glue sealing. It works better. First build model, spray with adhesive and then use lacquer. You can still use liquid glue on the tabs but Elmer’s glue does not work.
Hello, I have another technique and I recommend it. Cover the model in clear glue when finished, or either un-cutout on the paper. Let it dry then seal it with mod-podge. It works!
Out of curiosity, how can you get the Mod Podge to not show any streaks? I've been trying to do Mod Podge first and then a lacquer spray. But it seems like whenever I spread the Mod Podge with a card, it always leaves lines along it (probably due to any roughness on the card or some other reason).

Hi Hermercraft, I hope you'd kindly answer my question. I was wondering if you have any tips when joining the very last bit of the fuselage. Because attaching the very last bit means there is no opening for my fingers/tweezers to make sure the inner glue tabs stick to the last part. I hope you know what I mean by this.. Thanks! Also thanks a lot for the 3 tips papercraft videos, I find them very useful for a beginner :)
Thats good to hear. And I dont know, its also hard to me sometimes. you have to insert the last piece of the fuselage already built to attach it to the rest of the fuselaje, and just let it dry after gluing it in place
Please answer this quit while you do the glue part and let it dry does your fingerprint still remain on the paper when I did it with a4 standard officer paper it had my fingerprints of it please answer quick I'm launching my project very soon
Besides sealing with glue, you can just build your model, then spray it with clear spray adhesive, and then spray with lacquer. Sealing with glue easily wastes the glue. You can still use liquid glue on tabs and other stuff. Elmer’s glue does not work

Yes, but the colors will fade easily, if you use spray, it protects the colors and gives gloss

Nice video! But why a sunny day? Does your 160gsm paper have ColorLok? Because when I applied the glue like you, the ink got smudged not like yours...
S. Liew if you spray at night or a foggy day, the spray will not cure the same and you wont get that shiny effect

I had tried it before but instead of laquer spray i used fixative spray

Hermercraft I guess not
Lacquer spray works better, fixative spray is not too good for model making, it does not have a hard finish. Lacquer works better.
Can you apply the lacquer spray after the glue, or do you have to wait until the model is finished?
