- Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has taken aim at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for giving “billions of dollars to billionaires” while providing “nothing” for struggling Australians.
The Opposition Leader grilled the Prime Minister during Question Time on Wednesday.
“Why does this government have the wrong priorities and why is this Prime Minister so weak that he can’t provide support to Australians in need?” Mr Dutton said.

the Stage 1 and 2 tax cuts were for lower income people and Stage 3 were for those at the higher end. Nice try.

Allot of people on higher incomes have HECS debt.
LNP provided initial tax breaks to lower middle income earners.
People need to acknowledge facts rather than what they believe others should be providing them constantly. Also family benefit is paid on income received. And no if you dont need energy relief you shouldn't obtain it. For the greater good off all, inflation needs to be sorted. Our national debt is heading towards the abyss, god help us all if price of coal collapses, which it will !
Labour will supply free government housing/support for the 1mil people arriving in Australia, what a great deal for new Labor voters. That’s laughable! Dutton’s mate Joshy gave billions of taxpayers money in the form of JobKeeper to billionaires’ businesses that didn’t even need it. Frydenberg was warned the payments were open to rorting and he did nothing about it. Not only that but he didn’t even include a claw back clause. Dutton must have a memory problem..he seems to have forgotten that!

From the working classes to Billionaire's and Albo is taking the funking piss.
At the same time this Budget will have no or little for those who us who slug with a tax which is called ASSETS LEGISLATION. No Budget will have any benefits for those were or are (future) losing a large size of their pension(retirement). This will reduce for many, those who have been affected by this "legislative law" will they will less to spend. That does not mean that the government will miss out in taxes because we are paying 4 different tariffs on each item we buy, plus there is GST (taken over from whole sale tax).
