This is one of the coolest knives I've seen in a long while. I can see one of these riding in my pocket. The last knife that caught my attention like this one was Benchmade's Boguszewski Spike in the early 1990s, both having what I call a "coffin" handle. I've shied away from folders for the last year or so, but this one is really good. Great review, it sounds like you really like this one too.

High quality stainless steels won’t be as sensitive to magnets FYI. I personally like this knifes look very classic and that is a big chunk of magnacut. Just like any new mechanism it takes a little bit to get the exact knack for this knife but it’s very similar to a gravity IMO. However once achieved it opens in a flash. I also bought ken onion new bolo knife from his new company karbon. Great pairing with this Crkt. Nice video review too I agree price is fair to even somewhat of a steal to me. Magacut is getting top dollar and honestly I’m paying closer to 300+ for anything magnacut no matter the size. Anyway excellent review on a knife I already have but I really enjoyed the review.
This is almost perfect definitely needs a better deployment method maybe a thumbdisk? I'm just not a fan that i have to swing it to get it open. I'd just like more control over opening it. 🤷♂️ also I feel like the price is definitely a little high especially for a CRKT
The Redemption is a good looking knife but would like to have seen it with either thumbstuds or a flipper. Also, for the price, they could have used titanium instead of the stainless steel pocket clip and bolsters.

The bolsters probably have a high nickel content ( >10%) That would explain the lack of magnetism.
Long and pointy 😍maybe sharp the other side just the tip where it hides under handle when folded 🤣
This knife they have at that time understand tribute but can't imagine how that knife look
Last I heard, Hogue was running their Magnacut at 63-64 on their Deka. Dunno what they're doing elsewhere.
I guess CRKT told them to not put in a sharpening choil lol

It’s manufactured by Hogue. CRKT may be on the label, but it’s a Hogue.

Ken onion probably designed it without a flipper or stud so the blade could totally hide in the handle
