This song hits that spot everytime I listen to it. I feel like growing up, my dad was never really around when it mattered. I carried that sorrow for such a long time, but just adapted to it, and grew from it, especially once I had kids of my own. I relate so much when the lyrics say “You don’t care about how I feel/I don’t feel it anymore, make me feel powerful. Like yeah dad fuck you, I succeeded in life with out your support, now watch, and learn what a true dad is.

Serj Tankian is 50+ and I believe he can still do it, he just doesn't want to for a reason. Check their latest performance, SOAD live San Bernardino 2018. Serj is a freakin beast there.
